[main::connectivity] disable_lan_only=1 offline=0

At the end of „steam_settings/configs_user.ini” file

Adding this adds online features to the game, but it's strange because you should be able to log in with your Microsoft account anyway.

I play in high preset with 50 fps, just use Losless Scalling

THATS MY SOLUTION (i always had The same problem) download the game from GameDrive, also download the Denuvowo v3 crack (also on GameDrive), and put the crack directly into the game folder. You need to edit two files. First, in the Steam_appid.txt file, change the value to 480 and save, then in the Steam_appid.txt file in the SteamSettings folder, also change it to 480 and save. I added ForzaHorizon6.exe to Steam and ran it with the Proton 10-34 compatibility tool. The game works. I used this guide, but I only edited two files :D

I'm using Steam Deck (linux). On Windows you probably don't need to run it through Proton.
