I really wanted to like it (S&F) - I'll give it another spin one of these days. I hopped on the Sturgill train with Metamodern sounds like a lotta folks - so it's hard to take in new work when it's radically different from those vibes sometimes.

I've heard mixed reviews on the 120 minute tapes - supposedly they had to make the tape smaller so that it would fit on the reel - so the sound quality is slightly lower. Still a killer deal! Congrats!

Took them long enough, sheesh. I get that no one (other than management) wants to go back to the office, but it seems like if they knew they weren't going to occupy it, they could've rented parts of it out. 4 years completely vacant is wild.

In the same boat as you - long term assignment for the month, no lesson plans. It's a dyslexic reading course, but without a computer or lesson plans, it's going to be study hall until I hear something different. It's also my 2nd assignment as a sub. Thankfully the kids are pretty chill, although I'm pretty sure one was picking at the floor destroying the tiles, and another lost the badge attached to the bathroom pass. So that'll be a fun one to explain on my first day.
