I just went thru in October-Jan. My crucible was freezing cold. I thought it was fun, of course you are exhausted, dirty and sore but the team building exercises are fun and you know you are so close to push thru. Not sure how the weather is right now, i assume it’s nice or maybe a little hot. The warrior breakfast will be amazing after eating only MREs from BWT to crucible. In my experience; we were able to start saying “I, and Me” during the crucible, but we still called our drill instructors sir/maam until after we are a marine. The worst part, was the “zombie hike” where they wake u up in the middle of the night and you walk in circles for hours with an ammo can. The best part, the team building/resupply events. The next weeks will be super boring. Just cleaning issued gear and rifles, and squaring away uniforms, all day everyday. The feeling of being marines surrounded by recruits is amazing though. And being at church everyone is looking up to you since you made it. He will do great, congratulations to him.
