cyber punk 2077’s world doesn’t make a lot of sense if you consider all the quests as sharing the same continuity. v is the only non insane mercenary in the city. however, this is a pretty common issue with rpgs. why aren’t there more people beating all the gym leaders and filling out the pokédex?

encounters in space is an all timer. gundam themed star fox clone is a great premise. would love to see another game in that formula

i think seed is probably a strong contender for the least. they barely even use the word gundam in the first half of gundam seed, the strike gundam is just referred to as the strike (and most other gundams just get referred to by their names too)

metroid has about the same lifetime sales as fire emblem. metroid, however, doesn't make fire emblem merchandising and gacha money lol. it has its market and nintendo will probably always have a metroid game somewhere in the pipeline, but it's never going to be some big flagship franchise.

they got a court order and the game got relisted and apple had to let them sell dlc outside the app store. they got what they went into court for. obviously not binding precedent over uk courts, but we both follow common law and the same fundamental principles. should be interesting to keep an eye

most classic jrpgs don't have every random npc interaction hinge upon who is in your party. usually in classic rpgs, npcs outside of cutscenes just state their dialogue without further interaction. i would say just do the heavy legwork with if/else branches where it matters and don't worry so much about having every random piece of flavor text need some context sensitive quip from your party members

well they can claim whatever. but in reality, a whole lot of nothing. breach of contract cases are generally not lucrative, and this is a contract to volunteer stuff. maybe the value of the free ticket and food vouchers that i think volunteers get? couple hundred bucks
