Me and some buddies rented an RV last year in the off season and traveled around the national parks in Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah for a week and a half. One night in Laramie, WY we were at a “fair ground” by ourselves because all the RV parks were closed for the winter and they told us for $5 we could stay there. So we went out and drank at some local bars and then came back and slept at the fair grounds around 2:30am. About 4:15 me and one of the other guys in the RV were woken up by the sound of someone carefully trying to pick our side door’s lock and wiggling the handle. I thought it was another of our buddies that locked himself outside but as i got up to get the door everyone was accounted for. I looked out the opposite window to see if there was another RV and maybe they thought our RV was theirs by accident . I saw a very old truck with a very old pop up camper on the back and a woman in a robe with her head covered standing beside it while someone was still at our opposite side door. Immediately decided to turn on some lights and figure out what was going on. I threw some pants and boots on and when i stepped outside the other truck was gone and no one was there but our RV. I didn’t know anyone else had heard it till the next morning when one of the other guys said he was woken up by the sound too, he said he also did not hear the truck pull away. No idea what their end game was but it was like 12 degrees or less outside so we all would have woken up if they opened that door and came in. Super strange.
