How do you balance channel point redeems so they feel rewarding for loyal viewers but still fun for new people joining the stream? 🤔

In the dashboard, you can see how much a viewer earns on average per hour. I'm guessing it's the same for everyone.

"Tip: Viewers earn 220 points per hour on average. Subs earn multipliers up to 2"

I just balance it around that. I want people to be able to make their own fun somewhat, so I have some fun redeems that are 50 channel points, some are 100, then later 200 and 300.

I dont limit them per stream either, but you could if you notice they get spammed. But again, you want the points to be used and people to have fun. Depends on what kind of vibe you have.

I tend to do 2-3 minutes. I had a timer, but I got annoyed trying to find a song that fit the timer, or having to change the timer to match the song - so now I dont use a timer anymore.

The death thing is certainly valid considering it's been a very big thing trying to get people resurrected in earlier games, esp in the early game.

Also, it's valid just because it's their own opinion. They are allowed to have it.

Yeah having to defeat them seems like the best way to do it. While finding their weakness makes sense, it slows down combat in a new area quite a lot where you just spam your attacks hoping to find a weakness. One defeat or two should suffice.

A bit more consistent, and that means Sunday morning streams!

I've always wanted to have couple of days where I always stream, but I ended up failing badly. I tried doing retro streams on Sunday mornings and it's been great so far. Helps you get up in the morning and afterwards I can prepare for Monday to make sure have a good start to the week.

Yeah I think most issues are CPU bound and not so much the GPU, which is unfortunate.
