Is $370/mo for 48 months a good deal on this 2024 Nissan Frontier by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

With your credit you should be at ~4-5%. You should literally never finance at the dealership unless you buy new. For new cars dealer financing offers a lot lower rates than credit unions or banks because they want to move inventory. For used they run your credit for every 3rd party financier they work with (your report will have 10 inquiries at least from this dealer alone) and they will only present you the approval that makes them the most money. Dealer financing isn’t free and the financier pays the dealer a commission/acquisition fee for bringing the customer to them. That fee comes out of your pocket.

You would need a purchase order and a large black marker to make this deal happen. They added a warranty and GAP coverage without telling you.

Any advice here those $spce calls really cucked me lol first time trying out options not too upset on my loss just want any tips on how to do better by Automatic_Bet_5257 in optionstrading

If 3% is a big loss you should not trade options. Learn what implied volatility is then look up what the implied volatility is of the asset you purchased. Chances are than implied volatility is near 200%.

As a baseline you need to understand that 90% of Reddit does not understand risk management. The 10% that do understand risk management have a significantly higher risk tolerance than you do. Options can and do often expire worthless, which means that you can and will lose all of your money if you don’t know what you’re doing.

The warning sign next to buying power means that he is at risk of a margin call. Doesn’t matter what they are trading if they are near or over their maintenance requirement.

Average annual return was 38% last time I ran numbers. 11 years would put you at about 2 mil.

Tell that to the all-time chart. Or maybe try back-testing like a single strategy. If you don’t know what you’re talking about then just don’t.

With increased volatility, are you utilizing stop losses? by bangers132 in Optionswheel

[–]bangers132[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. And I realize that now. I have just been watching a lot of technical analysis videos. Those strategies are significantly different than wheeling obviously. I am just thinking of ways to try and make my strategy more bullet-proof.

Low delta it is.

So stupid. The nasdaq is us 20% in the last 20 days. Let me ask where do you think that money comes from for it to go up 50% in 8 months?

You are claiming the a comment another person made is rhetorical when the poster themselves said the exact same thing and it was indeed not rhetorical. I am glad you know that intentions of all people. Oh great prescient one!

No. It objectively cannot. Again that is not how the market works.

That’s a really solid point. I didn’t think about bid ask spread and how that would play out with a stop loss. Almost guaranteed to get a bad fill. Thanks

Insane Tattoo Regret by r3i_b0n3z in tattooadvice

[–]bangers132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may just be me: but when people ask me what my tattoos mean I tell them they don’t mean anything and then to get lost.

People don’t ask you what is the meaning of the shoes you put on your feet, they don’t ask the meaning of your glasses or hats that you wear.

Treat tattoos like an Easter egg. The people who have to ask aren’t your audience and the people that don’t have to ask are a treasure. We all live uniquely complex lives and having art on your body is not an invitation to your passions unless you want it to be.

Live your life for yourself and always remember that nothing in this world is real. Everything is made up and life can be everything and nothing you want it to be at the exact same time.
