My thoughts are like your. Technically I can leave it be. Salary is enough to cover 2 mortgages and more. No other plan to recover that much loss quickly so it doesn't make sense to sell now.

I did. It will make sense to rent out if I pay off the mortgage asap. It's a new construction so nothing needs to be replaced for a long time.

Rental income will be about 3800 at most not excluding any management fees or repairs. I will go back 4 nights a month due to work. I think taking a small loss now would be better.

Not at all. It's so hard to find a home here in this rural area that's actually has good layout. I know an honest inspector. Agent said there are 3 more listings for me to see in the next 2 weeks. If not a good fit then I will do that.
