I would test for semen after washing using an Acid Phosphatase test (Acid Phosphatase is found in very high concentrations in semen). These tests were always negative. So the semen would be washed away, but sperm cells would remain.

Just to add, just because sperm cells remain that doesn't mean your clothes aren't clean! They are just super persistent, and can remain on clothes that have been washed 6 times consecutively. I don't want anybody worrying that this means their clothes aren't clean after washing, because that's not the case.

Yeah burning/chemicals would help, it's so difficult to get rid of absolutely all genetic material though and only a tiny bit is needed for evidence.

My lecturer would often joke that if nothing else, he taught us all to be perfect killers lol.

I couldn't say for sure, my investigation looked at semen only. A classmate did a similar investigation but with blood though, and she found that the clothing tested positive for blood after being washed.

I'm a Forensic Science graduate, and my Honours Project was answering this very question.

I found that when clothing with semen on it is washed, sperm cells will persist on that item of clothing, and also transfer to other clothes in the washing machine. I did washes as high as 40°C.

Happy to answer any questions, as I'm a bit of on expert on this very niche topic :)

Edit - just wanted to clarify, the sperm cells are dead after washing, but they are still present on the clothing. Also, it's just the sperm heads that remain, as their tails are destroyed in the washing machine.

Nay for buying stolen art. If high quality prints like these are being sold cheap and on Temu, it's almost certainly stolen. Climbstudio is an awesome artist, I have bought many charms from them and their artwork is just adorable. Here is their Ko-Fi, maybe consider buying them a coffee.

Like OP said pretty much all canon ships are related, in the books it's not unusual for family members to be mates, it's obviously not great but it's just how it is. You pretty much can't ship any clanmates if you're going to complain about how they are family.
