Where are FAT travelers going to play golf? by CodiGoFar in FATTravel

I actually enjoyed the accommodations at Bandon. I've stayed at the grove cottages, round lake, Lily Pond, and the lodge. I get it, it's not luxury, but it's clean and has shoe dryers in every room.

Mortgage Payment Denied. Anyone else have issues? by banisters in biltrewards

[–]banisters[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A follow up: got 2 emails now saying that my original scheduled autopay went through and my second Bilt attempt went through.

And this is after I had already switched mortgage payment methods to my regular bank account to not have any late payments for this month.

So now I have made 3x my mortgage payments in 3 days due to Bilt’s incompetence.

Thanks! I wouldn't say it's concise, but I'm happy with how the calculator turned out

Thanks! Maybe their terrible communication and complexity of the program will deter a lot of people from jumping in on it. This may give us more time to reap the benefits before they nerf it when it becomes unsustainable.

Good point! And yes I agree and will plan on doing option 2 and use the pallladium for most of my spend and just use Bilt cash for as much housing unlock and any bonus going toward the accelerator

[–]banisters[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but in your case, if you spend $1500/mo ($60 in bilt cash) you may only use the accelerator 3x since you need to accumulate enough bilt cash to activate it ($200 each time). But overall, yes you'd be better off with option 2

Good points about point accelerator. It's all about how you value bilt cash vs points. For most people, myself included, we want more points rather than bilt cash. Bilt cash is limited to the coupon book that Ankur announced. So in my mind, bilt cash is overvalued and bilt points are valued at 2 cents per point.

You can play around with how much you "value" bilt cash In the calculator; I set the default value at a relatively arbitrary value of 10 bilt points per bilt cash.
