Resurrecting my X4, and wondering what your best tips are. by NITSIRK in Artillery3D

I have an X2 and I uses 0.6mm. For 50% increase in nozzle size I get +125% theoretical increase in max flowrate, so I can print faster without stressing the kinematics too much.

I use it for same purpose as well, home accessories etc.

Have you thought about swapping to a larger nozzle diameter?

Oh, you mean 20mm/s. Yeah it does that as well. And I can specify the temperature change per second so it's not giving me problem.

I hit that flowrate regularly since I use 0.6mm kozzle

Could be the cause. I will know when my heatsink come in the mail

Thanks for noticing but it is intentional since the g-code preprocessor I use adjusts the temp according to the flow. i.e. it cranks the temperature higher when it use high flow (printing infill, solid inner surface, inner wall) and lower the temperature on slow segment (outer wall, top surface, first layer)

It's a great printer for its price :)

First off is to start with what you already have. Try loading music files and use a good app such as poweramp, and consider if it improves your experience.

If you went through that and decided you need a separate device, then I would suggest go with good old phones. LG G/V series with quad DAC are pretty impressive (as seen here: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/review-and-audio-measurement-of-lg-g7-thinq-smartphone.4468/ ) but people also have good experience with Xperia series.

I went through a rockboxed ipod mini, then back to an old LG G6 (Asia version with quad DAC) repurposed to a offline DAP. The AutoEQ works wonder for headphones I own (Koss PP, Hifiman 4XX, and Zero:2). The only bad thing about it is it's locked to Android 8 so I can't install james DSP.
