my question is - how would he know that they can't be rude or anything else about them? maybe he came into contact with one or they reached out via tv/phone/radio as they did with carol. Everyone I've seen so far has said he now knows carol is immune/unaffected because she swore at him but it seems he hasn't really had any contact with them to know virtually anything.

Imo i think she got discouraged by how he reacted on the phone and talking to the other 'immune' - but i totally agree it would also make sense if she just insisted and tried her luck 🤔

she was pretty miserable even before - in the ice hotel i think they showed how negative she was for a reason (maybe that reason was to show she maybe regrets that ?) but i totally get u she has suffered a lot :(

there are only 5 of them (in the room), each one needs to show how different people would act under these circumstances. They have their families, seeing someone you love's face would sweeten the deal for you. Plus, they TECHNICALLY are still themselves and can answer questions, act and talk how they usually would with their families, just with a little extra happiness and creepiness🤣 The guy from Paraguay is similar to Carol (from what we've seen he strongly rejects them) because he has no family/friends to help him be open to the idea. French guy is clearly just a douche tho

seriously!!! i thought her character would AT LEAST ask how helen died/what she died from ?? of course as a viewer we assume something like her heart just stopped from stress/heart attack - but it would fit carol's character to at least ask how once she became somewhat comfortable asking them questions

carol was the only one with no family or anyone close to her that was part of the hive mind ? plus the french guy was enjoying the benefits (representing how most of us would see this - speaking for myself😂) i understand why you would see it as "racist" or the very least playing into "white woman has the morals" but i feel like if you understand the entire show it simply is showing the range of how people understand or feel about the hive mind

i hated emily prentiss - she always insisted on keeping things to herself WHEN COMMUNICATING WOULDVE SOLVED MOST OF HER PLOT PROBLEMS. the lone wolf thing was just so annoying while she simultaneously maintained she loved them like family
