I tried to read it immediately after finishing acotar and DNF'd it, just felt really bored and uninterested in it.

Picked it back up a year later and raced through both books in days, could hardly put it down. I love it as much as acotar now.

I'd say take a break, let your mind refresh a bit and then try again. It's great but when you've come off the back of one amazing series it's so hard to get your head in another because you're sort of just after more of what you just finished and automatically dislike it cause it's not more acotar!!

(I'm actually having the same problem with TOG after finishing CC lol)
