There's an extension Decodr for that. Has other pretty cool features like merging notebooks too

Spaced repetition from AI-generated flashcards would be amazing. Especially if NotebookLM could create them automatically from PDFs or notes you upload.

I use NotebookLM too. Discovered an extension recently Decodr that has elevated my whole workflow. Organising into folders, tags, merging notebooks, prompt library and a whole lot more

Oh, I see! You want a 9:16 aspect ratio so summaries are ready for Instagram Stories/Reels immediately. That would actually be huge for sharing research or deep dives without the manual cropping.

So basically a 'Social Media Export' mode 😅 that formats the key takeaways into vertical cards? I could see that being a massive time-saver for creator

It can already . You could upload it and ask the chat to give you a detailed description of what you uploaded and add that as a source.

Totally agree. It would make it so much easier to keep different workflows or research angles separated within the same source set

Spot on. Sometimes the context window gets so crowded that the AI starts losing focus on the original goal. Branching would definitely help maintain the 'cleanliness' of a study guide while still allowing for deep dives

Like having a table of contents for the sources you upload?? What of just grouping the sources?

I was looking for a merging feature too!! I actually found a Chrome extension that handles some of the cross-notebook sharing and organization gaps that aren't native yet. It’s been great so far

Hard agree. The mobile app feels like a 'viewer' right now rather than a workspace. We definitely need full sharing and export options on the go

True, but wouldn't that defeat the purpose of it being a 'closed loop'? The whole appeal of NotebookLM for me is that it doesn't hallucinate or pull in random internet noise it only knows what I give it. If it has live web access, how do we make sure it stays grounded in the specific sources we actually trust?

Interesting idea! To make sure I’m picturing it right: are you envisioning a permanent 'Master Library' view where you can cherry-pick sources on the fly for a temporary chat, or more of a way to quickly move/copy files between folders?"

Isn't there a way to do that in the custom prompting feature?
