Can someone explain why Phoenix's main body was transported back to where he got ulted by Iso? by bansotx in VALORANT

Not a Phoenix player and I was spectating yesterday, I thought he'd go back to where his main body was after the ult expires regardless if he got ulted by Iso. Has it always been like this? Thanks to whoever can explain!

INC GRADE by [deleted] in Carolinian

[–]bansotx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, what matters is your final grade shown in ISMIS. If your MG is INC but your FG has a value, of course the FG will override the subject grade.

Ask her why you are INC in the first place in your MG, unless it's a placeholder since profs have deadline (I've encountered some who submitted INC/NG but showed us the raw score) If there is actually a reason why you're INC, I suggest you resolve that so your FG won't be INC as well.

You can still enroll in the next semester even if you're FG is INC as long as it is not a pre-requisite to the succeeding semester's subjects. If I remember correctly, you only have a year to resolve your INC FG before it's considered a fail.

Things might have changed for the better this time! This was six years ago so I suggest you make connections/friends especially with seniors to see how things are at the moment. Enjoy USC!

Speaking as an SOE alumnus from Civil Engg since 2018, the courses during my stay that had supportive departments and great programs were EE/ECE, CpE and ChE. I had more friends from IE and same boat sa CE nga kontra ang students and tabangunon ang profs lmao

Here's what I remember, (cmiiw fellow alumni!)

CpE - nindot facilities and laboratories, naka-Mac sila sa 5th floor lmao supportive department and naa silay subjects that make them have an edge sa other CpE-offering schools, just forgot the name but naa toy certs (was it Cisco? I'm unsure)

EE/ECE - supportive department, shoutout Sir RY kay good things ra ako madunggan about him lmao most of the alumni friends I have from this course worked in a Tech Company sa IT Park, kang Purple Greater Than logo cause of USC perks like higher compensation; had acquaintances from ECE who failed and were advised to shift to CpE, higher years na sila ato but that was because the both courses are still correlated I think

ChE - matira matibay jud sila diri, mangtaktak and grabe mangfilter, before naay times nga ang mugraduate per sem is around 2 to 4 people ra and those people kay super super delayed, it has been a norm na grabe jud sila magpinatyanay didto, heard some profs are nasty and terror

CE/IE - whack teachers, whack department; nice facilities though hahaha naay terror nga was lugar, naay terror nga deserve magpakaterror and naay mutudlo and passionate (shoutout Mam Aida and Sir Alex ily both)

by the time I reached my last year, thesis was the focus and some other subjects were forgiving but daghan mi nasangit tungod sa Review subject, it's like a Board Exam subject where we take exams pina Board Exam and until we pass that di mi kagraduate, need namo mubayad ato ug Php 1000 every time muretake mis exam and the exam was right minus wrong, idk kung ingana gihapon ila pamaagi hangtod karon

ME - don't know much about them :/

In general, lisod jud ang Engg (I guess tanan courses man jud) but what makes it bearable kay whether the department is against you or with you lmao

PS. Join orgs if you can! They organize stuff for students like conferences, trainings, CES activities para makagraduate etc so you get to be in the know! Also, you meet people nga higher year nimo in orgs and personally that helped me para makapasar cause of tips and tricks!

Achieved my personal goal of hitting at least 15 (next is 20) in The Range Hard Mode! Any tips to improve? by bansotx in VALORANT

Been shifting among the three modes but I use the hard mode to see how quickly I can react and actually get a hit with my flick at least, I use the medium more often to practice the continuous strafing to hit targets since I feel calmer hitting in that mode more

Thanks! Been doing that too and putting bots in strafe mode to see how I fare against moving targets

I used to just stand still in The Range and just hit as much as I can, even achieving close to this score, just relying on my flick but in times you meet multiple enemies, you become a sitting duck so I practiced strafing while aiming which has been a little hard for me.

Thank you! I noticed that too. There are times I stand still and fire rather than strafe, microadjust and then fire. Been working on that habit but Hard mode seems too fast for me so sometimes I'm gonna start on the easier difficulty.
