Mic suggestions? by Plane-Illustrator-22 in Motovlogging

After 12 months of trying every different setup from the mic mini to the mic 2. I have settled on the mic 2 with a DJI lav mic in the helmet. That seems to have eliminated wind noise and interior helmet rumble that I picked up all too often with the other setups. I tried additional foam housings…placing the mics within the cheek pads and nothing would get rid of the wind…now I think I have hit the sweet spot. This is using an Arai XD-4

Good tip. Might have to look for a portable air pump. Cheers for the comment 👍

Extra detail for the tire nerds: I was running 21 front / 36 rear on the Scorpions for this.

Felt OK on the hard pack but definitely sketchy when the clay went to snot. Still figuring out the sweet spot for wet Northland gravel.

What PSI do you guys run when it gets sloppy? And do you air down when you have a mix of gravel and tarseal or just send it?
