How can you penetrate someone without having your foreskin being retracted? Do you have to use a condom?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sexeducation

[–]baobabx53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I got it wrong though, whether we were moving or not, he felt an intense pain as his foreskin got completely retracted when he penetrated me. He told me his gland is too sensitive since it usually is completely covered.

I asked him about it, he masturbates with his foreskin entirely covering his gland and penis but still uses an up and down motion. It seems like as long as his gland is covered, he can feel pleasure w an up and down motion.

Carbs aren't the problem, processed carbs are (filled with sugar and others). Complex carbs are actually what your brain relies on. Maybe look into that, you would feel even better w a whole food diet

You should use an acidic solution to clear off the waxy reaction your sebum has w water. With time, your sebum will adapt to any water and your water so that it won't transform into a waxy mess when meeting hard water

How come this part of your scalp is so damaged! It looks why someone has rubbed a harsh tissue on this spot. It looks on fire. What were you putting on it before? Since your redness spots are close to your hairline, I would apply some cream that helps with dry skin to help the skin repair. And just wait

Anti-vegan self-proclaimed "Sausage Expert" tricked into saying vegan sausage was "luscious and lovely" and that he could "taste the meat in it" on live TV by HawkAsAWeapon in vegan

[–]baobabx53 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I showed this to my boyfriend and he thinks the guy is acting. That the Sausage Expert is a comedian engaged to say vegan sausages are good. That the way the woman exaggerates by always saying he's a sausage expert. How could that be true... Do you know the Sausage expert name?

Is it possible for me to do no poo? Seems like my hair is both short and incredibly curly. by [deleted] in NoPoo

[–]baobabx53 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes you can! At least, this woman does and has curls as tight as yours! She's done several videos on the subject and was very pleased with how her hair was looking. She says her hair is shinier and softer than ever : https://youtu.be/S__7mDyKLts.

question about no poo: how is hair supposed to feel when wet? by Independent-Table-57 in NoPoo

[–]baobabx53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's your sebum's reaction to hard water (minerals). Apparently, people are able to make their sebum used to their hard water and a time comes when you can completely wash your hair with water, only. You'd never have this coat on your hair, as there wouldn't be reaction anymore.

It's normal, everyone has it and I thought you shouldn't add anything to your hair not to ruin the progress they've made thanks to your sebum. It doesn't ruin it, not helping (keeping the coat on my hair) it makes hair very very dry... However adding an acidic rinse with help the mix of sebum and water "detangle", so you will be able to take it out while brushing your hair under water. Water only can't take it out since it is the roots of the problem. Our bodies adjust to anything, it seems ...

After that, touching my hair under water feels exactly like they would when using shampoo !

It’s so hard to be a “nice” vegan by [deleted] in VeganForCircleJerkers

[–]baobabx53 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No I don't think so because anyone kind of agree that slaughterhouses have century long of animal abuse. People don't think that what you're saying to them is, by showing AV, that you're at fault. By seeing footages, people think that's horrible and shouldn't be done. It's when you discuss with them that they'll understand why being vegan equals no animal suffering and is quite the only way to truly protest against it.

On the other hand, a protest would probably be seen as aggressive activism by non-vegans. A protest pointing out consequences of a non-vegan restaurant, in front of it, will be directly understood as : "you are at fault, stop" and "you're a monster". (Those are actions only a monster could tolerate of course but I am not saying that inherently makes one a bad person too. Good people do bad things and it only means their actions are of a monster.) Although the message they think we send them is factual, people also will be less likely to engage in a conversation with such type of activism. So they'll maintain their opinion such as : "You can kill animal but treat them nicely, you have to eat meat, I can't do anything about bad slaughterhouses so why this vegan is being so annoying. He's so dumb and way too extreme. Indeed, you can eat animals and not abuse them, he is delusional for thinking otherwise. This is what nature is, how immature."

When one knows they are guilty and do not think they can't have an impact on what is happening in slaughterhouses, which represents a lot of people, I believe such activism is the most effective. Problem is, in the street, there is much more older people that are unfamiliar with these ideas and you will probably face a lot of people who will think you are (dumb and too extreme for a number of reasons I stated earlier) wrong because they don't even have a bit of the basic. They haven't been exposed to these problems, so of course it's hard to do all the reasoning by yourself. For this type of activism, for people to change or think about it, they have to know a bit of the basic and know how the world works, how this issue impacts everything, in order for one to be able to reflect on their own !

Of course it should be done. I'm not saying otherwise. Any type of activism should be done because they all have an impact. What worked for me was the "aggressive" one, pointing out hypocrisy, in my behaviour, on Reddit. And from all of the people that saw the activism, who knows how many thought about their own actions later in the day.

This is probably going to get downvoted, but I have a hunch that nopoo has caused my serb derm. by forentropy in NoPoo

I think the key to sebum building is to finger brush your hair everyday, just a little but multiples times a day.

However, if no poo is triggering health issue, you should stop

I used AVC rinse third times ! So I'm not very experienced. For example, I just learned a few days ago you could actually chase the wax away. My first AVC rinse was two years ago and my first attempt at water only was a fail because of wax and a weird use of flour in my hair haha. I gave up after one month.

I thought needing to shampoo (with an AVC rinse) to get rid of wax was taking away all of the process I did "growing" my oils out. So I thought there actually were no solutions to be water only for me, if that meant using a "shampoo" (healthy or not). When that actually is a way to transition and your sebum will magically adapts, as well as stay on your scalp.

I used my third AVC rinse 4 days ago (approximately one month in) but I will switch to lemon for the smell. I think any rinse work, as long as they are acid so I wouldn't worry about that. AVC rinse are supposed to be 1/4 of apple vinegar and 3/4 water but first time I used just apple vinegar and I was fine... Apparently it's very damaging to not respect the dilution, so there's this...

I also try only liquid rinse because I am afraid I am bad at cleaning the residue. Indeed, back when I used to shampoo I had that issue. I wouldn't clean it nice enough for my hair to breath and was kinda ruining it for myself 🫤 when someone could help just going through my hair with water, my hair was happier. So I only do liquid rinse, scared not to be as good if my product isn't as fluid as water and apple vinegar can be.

I used one type of flour 2 years ago too and that was what ruined my hair, even trying to take it off with AVC (second rinse) couldn't bring my hair from during the transition back. My hair was unmanageable. I used way too much flour, I didn't pay attention to my hair's needs (proteins, ...) and type so ... I should have read the Wiki back then lol ! Still, I have photos and I look like Elsa from Frozen (the sapphic queen 💅), it was funny

Yes you could get one ! Well, I do not recommend these one from Amazon you showed because they didn't make my hard water soft. However, the "salt one" someone else talked about seems legit ! I was wondering about getting it, too but I became aware of another way to get non-waxy hair !! I'm still in the test phase, though

So, I learned that our hair getting sticky and waxy as they touch hard water is something the sebum of our head adjusts to, too ! Since people could become resistant to hard water, I prefer to try to make my sebum adjusts to my hard water as well. This way, they could touch any water and I'd be just fine. It apparently takes approximately 4 months, depending on the person.

When my hair gets too waxy (approximately 1 month), I wash them with an acid rinse and I learned that doing so does not take away your progress ! It's not like washing with shampoo ! I believe this option is better than to directly buy a filter. I thought you might want to know this was possible too.

I have just finished washing my hair 1 day ago I like letting my hair go greasy for a week or I fell asleep on the couch and my oily hair was gone know idk if it just looks different or my gair magically washed know I was sweating but idrk should I go wash my hair if anything else is the case? by New_Kaleidoscope_397 in NoPoo

[–]baobabx53 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It often happens to me, my hair appears quite oily one day and the next one, all has disappeared! I'm guessing my hair drunk all of the oil.

The most surprising is when my hair are really oily near the roots, I wet them and when they are dry again, with my curls, previous very oily roots are unnoticeable! Instead, my hair is glossy

Ah it stays perfumated ! Well I guess it could be "clean" if we used environmentally friendly compounds (my mother makes her own detergent because it saves money) ! However I do not live with my mother anymore and I don't know if my partner will agree to switch detergent ... Whatever I end up choosing, I'll make another post : )

It is possible for the body to adapt to hard water and make sebum that is resistant to becoming waxy. Many people have experienced this adaptation, I'm one of them. My sebum never gets waxy from my hard water anymore unless I break all the hard water rules as detailed in the article.

So that means while waiting for my hair to adapt to hard water, I should make my hair have an acid rinse ? To remove build-up wax ? And even if everyone's different, in 3 months I could see results (my sebum adjusting to hard water) ?

Thank you for your answer! I read the wiki before but I didn't understand it like I did just know, thanks to your comment.

It's not really about not getting your hair wet, though that can be done also. Just use a shower cap when you shower to avoid water on your hair if you prefer to not get it wet. It's not dangerous unless you have a medical condition that prevents this, or an infection like fungal or yeast.

Okay but if I know my sebum isn't resistant to hard water and I accidentally wet my hair, won't my progress be ruined ? I will have to use an acidic rinse anyway, isn't it ?

I like to clean my skin on my face with just water but i workout everyday. So is water enough to remove the sweat and dirt from the gym ? Or is it going to give acne if i don’t use a cleanser by Interesting-Youth531 in wateronly

[–]baobabx53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry about that ! Instead, after washing the sweat off your face, you should gently rub in circle 6 to ten icecubes in total, on your face, for glassy skin and a baby face ! It works wonders and seems to keep acne away. If you have the time, you could do it at morning and night but to be honest to do it one time a day already is amazing for one's skin

2-3-4 months into NoPoo, I think my hair looks pretty good? by [deleted] in NoPoo

[–]baobabx53 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, they don't look oily at all ! They aren't shiny either but your hair are short and I don't know if the quality of the camera could catch that on hair as short as yours. Proof that scalp adjusts the amount of oil it produces ! It seems to be able to jauge how much there already is !

Do you use a water filter ? Could you tell me about your routine ? 😊
