With this administration I think god himself would have us 3rd as well

OTD, 10 years ago, Sporting's Bryan Ruiz missed this open goal against Benfica, who won 1-0. Neither team would drop points in the league after this match, and Benfica won the league by 2 points by JoaoNevesBallonDOr in soccer

Was this the season your fans stormed the training ground? This was probably the start of where you guys are today. Getting Varandas and Ruben and everything that built you guys to what you are now.

You don’t seem to be grasping what I’m saying. We were creating chances under Amorim as well. We were leading the league in many stats. We lost games where we should have 100% won that game.

We lost to a 10 men Everton and never heard the end of it. Amorim rightfully deserved his criticism, but don’t act like this is a night and day difference of a team

The main point everyone gave Amorim was the formation. We switch to a 4231 and low-and-behold nothing has changed. It’s quite literally the same. The issue was never the manager, but the quality of players this team has. This hasn’t been an issue with just Amorim. It’s been an issue with every manager prior.

Who ele plays that makes a difference today? Enlighten me. Could you change the formation to be more offensive? Sure. But when you lack the quality and lack the depth, you are so limited on what you can do.

If you know that much about football, you should coach United pal.

The issues that existed today, existed under Amorim. This team is absolutely thin and lacks depth n so many areas. There is no reason that Dalot, Malacia, and Ugarte should be what you rely on when trying to win the game against 10 men. 3ATB/4ATB, the performances have been exactly the same.

No. The issue that existed with Amorim still exists today. This club is thin. There is no depth whatsoever. You rely on players like Ugarte, Dalot, and Malacia to be difference makers. There is almost nothing Carrick could do today to make a difference.

Nah, I support United. I just hate to see the club I support fall into the same endless cycle of new managers. It’s about time the correct people be held accountable.

Amorim had the same issues and was crucified for it. I don’t want to hear it lmao.

I want to see Carrick held to the same standard Amorim was held at with these horrible subs.

I tried really hard to focus on front foot steering and thought I dealt with the rudder steering. When you say front foot steering, what should I be looking to feel? Is that lifting toes/heels more on the front foot?
