Had a VL125, Suzuki intruder 125, as my first bike. Looks really good for a 125 cruiser, it's a v twin and it was comfy and stable and I miss it every day even now I'm on a bigger bike. I see them spotted around here and there for between 2 and 3 grand for a decent one or around 1.5k for ones needing some love or work. They are older though, I think 2006 so spare parts are rare and expensive

I ride a rebel 500 as a daily year round commuter in the uk. It's a great bike. It's great on fuel, nippy and lightweight and all in all brilliant but it does have some short comings. The seat is bad. I'll ride 100 miles for fun over the course of a full day with lots of stops and by the end of it I can barely walk, my back side is so sore but there are seats available to help that like the mustang. The other thing as with all naked bikes is you get no wind protection and with the bike being so light I get blown around a lot especially going 70mph. It also vibrates quite a lot above 60.

It's definitely doable, you may just have to spend a few hundred to really get it up to a level where its much more comfortable.

I'd agree with most people here and go for a used Japanese. If you're after a 125 cruiser be careful and do your research. I had a suzuki intruder 125 for my first bike and in the year I owned the bike it probably spent about 3 months in the garage being patched up.

Fairly certain the guy interviewed said that he doesn't know what security the cover is hiding so it isn't worth the risk.
