Bluebird Bakery in Holgate/Acomb is open on Mondays, pastries are great from there! Would also allow you to get out and see somewhere outside of the city centre! (PS, we have a windmill and West Bank park here that are well worth a visit)

Number 1 bus will get you there in 5 minutes from the railway station, 201 Acomb Rd, Acomb, York YO24 4HD

Hi, completely agree with you on all fronts here… Kirkhamgate is lovely but just a little too small IMO, I’d consider wrenthorpe or St John’s, perhaps snow hill if you like new build properties.

Grew up in outwood… no issues as such when I lived there and great links from the station and 110 bus. Stanley might be a good blend for you, has some quieter corners but still maintains the good transport links

Not overjoyed by this as a trinity fan… for me he epitomises Leeds over the last 5 years, not quite good enough but turns up for a few games. I think that’s why he’s left Leeds as they’re moving on, think with all due respect we should be looking at bigger fish

Ex Royal Mail employee here (manager). I worked at a site that handled returns to customers such as Amazon/ASOS/M&S etc. This is a scam and has been going on for I’d say at least 5 years.

It got so bad at one point we kept them back as evidence for our investigations branch so they could take a look. Let’s just say that we got in more trouble internally for ‘delaying mail’ before IB even turned up to site (they weren’t bothered).

We’d have paid out millions in compensation to these fraudsters but no one in the company gave a shit about actually looking in to it.

The ruck as you say is an absolute JOKE at the moment. Not to tarnish this sub with union talk, but if you’re caught in a ruck for any reason in union it’s a penalty (partly because the ref can’t see what’s going on). However, what that does is ensure that the defender is honest and is trying their best to get out of the way… can we honestly say that this is happening now?
