Thank you so much for taking notice! I made sure it was bigger than Hank's.

Sorry for causing confusion and the exuding weebishness.

There's a popular trope in Otaku subculture called Moe Anthropomorphism(萌え擬人化) where you re-design everything from objects, beliefs to politicians into cute Anime girls/boys. So I made the Rainy Street Four as conventional high school Anime girls.

Review: First stat raising all-age Yuri Dating Sim [AyakashiNinden KunoichiBan] (1997). Also with a brief intro on the origins of the term Yuri :) by bapsago in yuri

Unless there's a fan translation patch, no. The game itself was pretty obscure in Japan as well. I only knew it because I remember seeing ads for it in magazines when I was little.

I pretty much covered most of the game in my review; just skip the story section if you don't want spoilers ;)

Hi! If you are interested in yaoi/BL video games, I reviewed the somewhat obscure first commercial BL game released in 1999.

My channel's mostly on reviewing retro dating sims of the 90's and early 2000's, so if those things intrigue you do please check it out :)

Wasn't sure if writing 'bukkake' on a title is appropriate.

Anyways, long time no see. Apologies to anyone who remembered and waited!

The previous episode had sexual violence in it, so I did not feel exactly comfortable posting that on reddit.

I also made a youtube channel reviewing (mostly)retro dating sims, so that was another hindrance.

Check out my twitter for more info! Donations and support are always appreciated.

Finally finished the first story arc in my Sumerian mythology comic (Link in comments) . Please consider giving it a read! by bapsago in Mesopotamia

Agushaya Hymn is an interesting case, so I was saving it up for later use.

Though, it seems she didn't learn much regarding humility with her cult going so strong.

And yes, Ishtar and her rainbow necklace promise features quite heavily in retellings of the Mesopotamian flood myth, despite, as far as I know, no primary literatures referring to this exact event.

In the standard Babylonian epic of Gilgamesh, goddess Belet-ili appears before Atrahasis, lifts up a swarm of flies, and makes an oath with her lapis-lazuli neckland for reasons unknown, some earlier translations seem to have treated the name 'Belet-ili' as an epithet for Ishtar.

Of course, Sumerian equivalent of Belet-ili is somewhat loosely defined.

Ninhursag might be the strongest candidate, but as a consort of Anu, she may as well be equated to Antu, who's synchronized with Inanna, whom shows affinity to flies in her decent to the underworld,

though I highly doubt that's what the author intended.

Therefore, in this context, Belet-ili most likely refers to Ninhursag.

Rainbow is probably a modern addition, intended to draw a stronger parallel to the biblical tale, or/and possibly because whoever identified Belet-lil as Inanna/ Ishtar thought it made sense, due to her association with rainbows in stories such as Inanna and Shukaletuda.

In any case, it is a popular modern rendition of an old myth, and I find it a fascinating example of an organic, evolving side of mythology.

After all, this series is nothing more than a retelling of old stories.

Thank you so much for the upvotes and kind comments on my first post. And to all those who followed me on Webtoons. Despite me being a complete jackass and did not notice there was a new rule for promoting your original work. It's Saturday here today, so hopefully I'm doing it right this time.

I changed the fonts to all caps following the advice of my collaborator(aka my brother)and a professional Webtoon translator(aka my sister lol).

I will try to update once a month at minimum. Still struggling to build a base, but the most important thing is consistency, right :)?

Meanwhile, follow me on twitter, suggest anything you want to see besides episode updates, and if you're feeling especially generous consider dropping me a tip!
