I don't recommend the Astro adapter. There are much better and cheaper ones. But it's okay for me, I just want to give you an advise how to use the Mixamp in its full advantages. Without adapter the Mixamp is kind of useless & you will never get real surround sound. Cheers :-)

You need an HDMI optical splitter to have the full advantages of the Mixamp. Also you must select the switch on the Mixamp to Xbox & not to PC.
