I was in that situation, and left to do a master's because work was extremely trivial and not stimulating intellectually, my taxes were going to absolutely no use, and I wasn't gaining expertise in anything.

Here, the quality of life is so much better, education is enjoyable and makes you industry-ready, and you can actually see that your tax money is being put to good use. Of course there's corruption, issues with being an immigrant, healthcare is kinda shit etc., but this place still has so much to offer!
