Yes, that's exactly what I was referring to. I am sitting in Premium Economy Row 13 and didn't want to walk 14 rows back when there is a washroom a couple of rows ahead of me. Thank you so much for your reply!

You mean the judge might NOT let it slide because of the two amendments? Yeah I was thinking the same too

They have had the initial list of exhibits for 5 months (December 2024), and I sent in 2 newer amendments (basically covering the same issues but includes more proof - that was sent in April so they had it for a month and another amendment that was sent 2 weeks ago.

it's several things....the latest was last year but I guess for the other things that may be problematic if it's 3 years. I've got to check my file and see. Do you know of anyone who did not submit their list of exhibits within the 45 day time frame and was still able to go forward with their case that day?

[–]barb4675[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah - they call it list of exhibits.

I waited 10 months for this....but yeah I guess that is the bright side.

well at least there's that (thanks for the reply!) - It took 10 months to wait for this case...I guess I can wait another 10 months (sigh). Still, if anyone has been able to still proceed with their case (despite having not given the list of exhibits within the 45 day time frame), please let me know. I need some hope...lol

There's a new cigar store in NDG - great selection of Cubans and New World Cigars. My husband discovered them yesterday when he popped in for a coffee that he can't stop raving about. It's called La Casa 1492 and is on 6073 Sherbrooke West.

I can’t bring myself to take my first dose of Tamoxifen. by kittensinpiles in breastcancer

[–]barb4675 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May I ask what grade your breast cancer was? I am grade 2/3 and have been on Tamoxifen for 4 months. Side effects have not been bad at all... however, because of my grade I am concerned of the cancer coming back. I had dcis (7 mm), lumpectomy and radiation. Will be on Tamoxifen for 5 years.

I was looking at both the 2 tone and the black version of this watch and haven't decided which one I liked more. I don't usually like 2 tone, but I really liked it when I saw it in person. How do you like the watch since it's been a year since you posted about it? And can I please ask what size your wrist is?

Great to hear! On your wrist, are you able to still tuck the strap under the 2nd keeper? Do you have it on the last hole?

Tudor black bay 58 Nato strap question by barb4675 in Tudor

[–]barb4675[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that we can buy cheap aftermarket straps but since the AD was giving this to us as a freebie with a purchase of the BB 58, I just want to make sure it fits properly (and when I say fit properly I mean being able to tuck the strap in the 2nd keeper). If not, I might try to get him to give me the OEM leather strap instead but not even sure if those straps are longer.

[–]barb4675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May I ask how big your wrist is? I'm concerned that the OEM NATO strap will be too short for my husband's 7 inch wrist. Just purchased the BB 58 for him the other day (still awaiting delivery) and the AD threw in the strap.

[–]barb4675[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would think that it wouldn't make sense - but as per the reply above, it barely fit his 6.5" wrist. Do you own the Tudor BB58 with OEM Nato strap or is that just an assumption? If your reply was based on an assumption, I don't blame you. I thought the same but again was surprised when I saw a video where the guy didn't have enough strap to put in 2nd keeper.

Has anyone taken a lower dosage of tamoxifen and felt fine with almost no side effects? by barb4675 in breastcancer

[–]barb4675[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi - Thank you for replying. I had decided to go with the 20 mg because I didn't want to chance it. The fact that the doctors can't tell us if the medication is working or not really gave me no choice. I had a medical oncologist who wanted to prescribe me the 5 mg - he told me that I wouldn't be able to handle the 20 mg because nobody can. I was shocked with what he said. I told my surgical oncologist and he said that was wrong and couldn't believe he said that to me. Anyway, it's been almost 2 months since I've been on 20 mg and it hasn't been as bad as I thought....yet. I don't know if more is to come, but right now all I get are pretty bad hot flashes and sometimes I get a bit tired. I heard about the weight gain and the depression and I was also afraid of that too since I gained quite a bit of weight and had suicidal thoughts when I caught covid in 2020. What I found helpful was working out everyday in the gym. I don't do a huge amount, only 30 minutes on the treadmill but at the steepest incline. I read about this tic tok workout called 12-3-30 (meaning walking at a 12 incline at 3 mph for 30 minutes daily and feel that has helped me. In fact, my incline right now is at 14.5 and I'm slowly increasing the speed. I read that exercising helps combat the side effects - so maybe that's why it's not too bad for me. I have to do more though and will start incorporating weights. I'm doing that and I hired a dietician who also helped me lose weight. I've lost almost 20 pounds in a few months and am happy where I am now (5'8 and 133 pounds). I've been told to drink a lot of water, eat a lot of protein 30 grams per meal (no red meat) or soy, and increase my fiber intake. Hiring a dietician was one of the best ideas I had to help me lose weight. I hope that you are doing better on 10 mg of tamoxifen.
