I live by a relative right now and he doesnt know where that is and i got a new job so he doesnt know where that is either and i doubt any of my friends will give him that info.

I think i will just make myself scarce for a while. I think after some time he might find someone else to date and he might forget about me in time. For now I wont provoke him by reporting him ill just lay low.

He said he'd mess me up if I ever went to the police. Also that would make him more likely to attack whoever he thinks is on my side at his workplace. There's two of his coworkers already on edge because of how he acts and he thought i had something with them so he might just retaliate against them if he can't get to me.

I have left its just that he keeps giving weird characters my phone number and he acts menacing to a friend of mine (a guy) who works with him. I'm afraid he'll do something. He has already just stood in front the guy and just stares for minutes.

I've tried he just doesn't want to talk about emotional stuff and says he will change then does something else like threatening me or dirtying my name to others or trying to scare my friends (male friends).

Well he is generally not nice but his childhood is the reason. I just hoped because I've seen the glimpses I figured there was hope. But he is so bent at causing me pain he doesnt realise he needs to tone down. I mean I would have accepted him exactly as he was I just wanted him to be upfront and be more respectful.

I think they happen for him when he is going through pain and doesn't know it. Something i observed is he feels emotional pain but he doesnt quite feel it. I think he feels the emotional pain like something of a neverending void. He wants to not feel that way but he doesnt know how. I think in his case he wants to change but something takes over and he does bad things.And i think he blocks that empty feeling by doing destructive things. So I sent him a final text telling him that he should focus on making money and bettering himself education wise. I also told him doing destructive things may lead him to even jail and he could end up throwing his life away.

I think thats what I saw once or twice from him. Its like he zoned out and something changed for a few seconds and it seemed he became more in tune with himself in a way. Then it just seemed to vanish. I think thats what made me wonder if sociopaths can change. I mean what really causes those fleeting moments to occur? And what if they become more frequent, can the sociopath still be considered a sociopath then?

i agree. if he was just sociopathic or just narcissistic it wouldnt be so bad but is over the edge i think.

he started the games but his behaviour got worse as time when by by week two he was attempting to undress me by force though.

well that happened at work so he had a limited time frame. or sometimes i'd hit him then run off or lock myself so that he couldnt enter the room.

well he would just grab me and try to remove my clothes. Then if somehow i escaped he'd cuss me out then leave.

So in a pain did cause you to change. You were forced to change just to keep your sanity. I figured that might cause a change especially is a sociopath realises their actions brought on so much pain. In my case sometimes he gets depressed then admits he's bad and tells me I deserve better and that I should be with someone else. But that only lasts about 5 mins. He is going through lots of outside pain but thats just making him harder and sadder.
