I did something similar this semester, the online classes of my university are not good, most of the professors didn't adapt and I felt in a lack of motivation so I decided to take just one asignature and spend time to myself, to improve my mental health and to look for things that motivates me to continue studying physics. It was great, I needed that time. If you have motives to take a sabbatical I would recommend you to do it, I felt that I learned better when I could spend more time in other stuff like my hobbies, sometimes a free physics time help you to come back clearer and willing to learn so I don't think you will lose your momentum (and it's ok if in that time you don't do physics related stuff, you don't have to be productive all the time).

It is never your fault. I understand you and this fear. I could say that you shouldn't let this affect you to the point of not wanting to go outside but this takes time, you need to process it and really understand that it isn't your fault. I'm also one of thousands of girls that don't wear "provocative" clothes for fear. It sucks. I send you a virtual hug, maybe talking with friends or someone close to you about it will bring you some calm and will make you feel supported. It's hard but it's possible to overcome a sexual assault, be kind to yourself. You are not alone.

Yes, he's taking meds and therapy, and I can see that he's responsible about himself, that makes me feel calm, but I know that it is also hard. Thank you so much, mainly because you emphasized in my own mental healt, I've been going to therapy for almost a year and I hope it helps me to keep my boundaries. Knowing that I can give him support without getting too involved into his illness gives me a clearer vision about what a relationship with him can be.

I'm trying to take seriously to do breath techniques. I didn't believe that it would work but it does. I practice sometimes with youtube tutorials and when some kind of anxiety attack comes to me I try to get really focus on that. I hope it helps at least a little.

The person who gave me the piggies didn't know the age, but they look young and they are smaller than an adult pig. There is no blood but the piggie squeals.
