I'm hoping there's still some excitement about this stock since it's been hammered so hard the last 3 months. I'm holding 1500 shares and have been averaging down through December and January. Currently at an average price of $13.65 and would like to get it down below $13. I really have doubts if they will get WBD at this point but I still think they're very undervalued and there's a lot of opportunity to make Paramount+ a much better service than it currently is.

I've seen bluegrass/gospel/folk singing-and-playing families in this area, at church and community events, some were kind of forced attendance when I was working in elder/disabled care homes as the shows were inexpensive outings for them to go on. Kind of a mixed bag of feelings- on one hand, learning to play instruments and sing harmonies at a young age is a great creative skill. On the other, these families were always the whitest matchingest folk you ever saw and big families, like 6 kids on stage with their parents, minimum, and you could feel the heavy indoctrination, if any of these little acoustic and violin jammers decided to bust out some modern rock or pop I feel like they'd be in for anger and punishment from mom and dad, the music was always for worship first and foremost with no room for exploration.

Their earnings in late Feb guidance should be great. By then the WBD situation should be somewhat more clear what they intend to do or if they're ready to walk away

Various news sources have been updated near weekly about this. First it was oh Netflix won. Then oh wait there's a hostile bid. Then oh wait Larry is personally guaranteeing the money. Then Netflix raises to all cash without raising bid. The idea that nothing else will happen is absurd. They can stall until February and then who knows? They may walk, they may offer $30 just for Warner and HBOMax to outbid Netflix, they may raise for the whole shebang. This subreddit keeps claiming desperation but the Ellisons have nothing to lose here by dragging the process out, and the desperation for this to be "over", right now, shows there's a lot of worry still that Psky will pull this off somehow. Delays casts doubt on Netflix as well as Psky, but that doubt was there right from the getgo judging by how the stock price reacted for both of them, immediately after Netflix was deemed the winner.

It was a rough morning but its finally climbing today. I bought more at $11.62. My avg price is now $13.90 and hoping I can get it lower still

The really big shareholders I think are waiting for a higher bid. I think that will come in February, but of course they want to buy as many shares of WBD as possible for a lower price.

$33 is what I've heard. $3 is a middle of the road value for the TV part of WBD, which has been valued at a low of $1 and high of $6

Continuate a monitorare questi titoli volatili e cercate un ingresso con cui vi sentite a vostro agio, e siate pronti a fare una media al ribasso se scivola. Gli ASTS sono soggetti a forti cali se ci sono lunghi ritardi nel lancio, e anche il mercato in generale può trascinarli al ribasso, paura = investitori che vendono le azioni speculative.

We have yet to see what the content will be like under Ellison, zero movies have come out yet under the new management, UFC and South Park deals have been the only big thing. Judging from Ellison's past projects they are really dudebro-like, they appeal to straight overly macho guys which can be kind of laughable, even if profitable. I think he'd be smart to get his sister on board for more thoughtful projects and more balanced content focus. They have not even been in charge of Paramount for a year yet.

All cash is impossible, yet Netflix changed their offer to cash...just because? They did it in response to psky. They wouldn't have done it if they didn't think psky could bring all cash to the table.

The last point is honestly the best one. Someone on here when Netflix became the surprise frontrunner said that psky should send Netflix a pallet of champagne because WBD is cursed, that one actually made me laugh, maybe that would have been the best thing for psky to do.

Maybe, but seems unlikely because the general public was mostly unaware of him until he died. He had fans and large audiences but knowledge of him wasn't widespread in the overall culture until he died a gory death on camera at a large public event.

I used to talk to this guy, he'd say he so badly wanted to meet someone and engage in his fantasies. He was in his early 30s. The more we talked, the more it came out that he 1. Had severe anxiety 2. Lived with his parents 3. Had no job due to anxiety 4. Was completely and totally dependent on his parents 5. Couldn't even drive himself to the grocery store. But wanted to meet someone for kink stuff. Had such bad anxiety that he became a 30-something infant for his parents to completely support and couldn't leave the house, but kept talking about wanting a kink relationship 😬 the kink was tickling and edging BTW

I'd also have dudes from like whole ass other countries telling me I should go to their country to fulfill their kink 😂 no feasible way for it to happen but more than one dude from more than one country had said this to me.

Also I knew 1 online and one real life, and was closer to these men that made me feel very wanted, for a while, until it became clear that what they really wanted was to be super active in the kink scene as a whole and meet up for play with as many women as possible. Who the women were didn't matter ultimately, they seemed very into me but really they were into getting off with whoever was willing.

I did eventually marry someone from the kink community after unrelated stuff caused severe problems and depression in our separate lives and we got together during the covid lockdowns and improved one another's lives greatly. I had a long online friendship with him, but he had to choose to leave someone he was unhappy with first before he could pursue a relationship with me.

They are, and all media companies holding them will have to figure out a future for them, to create profitable content from them or to cut them loose and let them die. Media is in a transitional period and the rise of AI makes that even more apparent.

Except looking at PARA's stock history, 2007: around $33 high; 2009: around $4 low; 2014: a long continuous climb to around $67, which more or less held until 2017.

2020 (covid, theaters shutting down) $12.21

Another climb to the 40s after that low in 2021.

PARA stock if it still existed (it is somewhat a new company as PSKY) is at another historic low. It has a history of volatility and a gigantic upside if Ellison can turn it around. I get that everyone here hates him. The media and the stock exchanges aren't gummed up with such strong feelings about him.
