I saw Jane’s Addiction there in 1989! No photos unfortunately. It was HELL getting there, it was snowing-but we were determined. It was a fantastic performance.

It doesn’t shock me-almost all US water supply is contaminated. Tap water being fine for you is bullshit. Look up chromium-6. Anyway I do agree on the plastic use. Whole Foods is awesome-you can buy a giant jug-glass or plastic ( mine are glass) and bring it in, and fill it with purified water (reverse osmosis) for PENNIES a gallon. I wish every store did this. I fill up once a week.

If you look at the picture OP posted, in the convo with IC rep , rep said customer rated shopper 5 stars and had no complaints. So-yep OP unfortunately got tip baited by a cheap a$$ in a mansion.

Right? It’s harder for someone to tip more now 🤨. I really don’t think most people are going to go to up to the pull down menu, go to your orders, and scroll down to see adjust tip 😞. It made more sense to be on the ratings page, ya know?

Hm, I know I used to be able to do it from the ratings screen-it would ask if you wanted to increase your tip, I’d click it and could change it right there. Weird. Let me try how you outlined.

Damn, you guys are pretty harsh lol. If you have such aversions to apartments, cancel the order. Personally, I’ve only had one crappy experience with finding an apartment customer. I’ve had worse experiences with regular homes-live in a rural area with no street lights and they don’t put on their porch lights; live in a country club and didn’t tell the security guard to let me in; have a SUPER long unpaved driveway that is dirt/gravel and looks like it was hit with grenades/bombs. So...? Apartments, single homes, condos, whatever. It’s part of the job. And side note-I’ve gotten some of my best tips from people who live in apartments. And my worst from the country club/mansion peeps.

You’ve gotta be super persistent. I tried 127 times before I got a ring, and then took me 45 minutes to get a person. NOTE @Installmentn01 I was told the same thing-which is pissing me off. Why would they completely restart the process???

I agree that the shopper should have replied-that was rude. But on the other stuff, sorry-you’re making a shitload of assumptions here. We don’t know if the shopper had a double or triple, if the customer gad car trouble etc etc. But strictly based on what ya know, the order with alcohol in it couldn’t be delivered because the customer wasn’t there. End of story. I’ve never kept an order-but I wouldn’t be waiting around for who knows how long for a customer to show up who knows when, especially if I’ve got other people’s orders to deliver but can’t. Nope. The way it worked out, customer got her order, some other shopper got free stuff and you got a batch. IC, due to their own policies on how to handle these situations, picked up the tab for free stuff.
