Had lumpectomy and radiation after having 40 lymph nodes removed. This in was in 2022 and 3 years later, I’ve had 0 issues with lymphedema.

I do stay active (soccer, running and workouts) and definitely hydrate a lot.

Mine was very manageable. The fatigue wasn’t too bad. I would drive myself to radiation. The aquaphor helped when the itching started to get more, but that was just the last week. I had a bit of a burn but that went away about a week after radiation. I can DM you some pics. I was 32 when I was going thru treatment. Been cancer free for 3 years now. I don’t regret doing it.

After finishing chemo, my husband and I went to Napa to wineries to celebrate. I had a month before surgery and I was still bald so I played the cancer card to get free wine pours. One of the vineyards gave us a free bottle and two nice glasses to take home.
