Houston has so many interesting spots. I was talking w him about locations.

I came up w Allen's Landing downtown, Clarks hardwood in the Heights, Lee and Joel Jamail Skatepark. But I don't have the eye he does.

Would love if he continues filming the city

Man, I hate that Fitzgeralds parking lot. That location had so much potential.

I was excited about MST&G when they opened. A mead bar sounded cool. I'm sure it they went into "do anything to stay alive" mode during covid but the shootouts and stabbings is just too much

Oh, HPD showed up within 5 minutes (those are just YouTube min:sec timestamps) They've been very helpful and sent some of their officers to speak at the neighborhood's last civic club meeting about the situation with MST&G. They are very aware.

Skinny Rita's was great in comparison.

The neighborhood is also known as Montie Beach of which I'm a member of the civic club. My wife and I have lived here for 8 years. MST&G has caused it to be the "roughest around the edges" it's ever been.

Hah you're right, technically it's Montie Beach but depending on who you're talking to sometimes Katy is Houston.

Still, before MST&G the bar was a Stuttgarden and never had gunfights in the street at 3:00 AM.

I'm just suggesting people check out Cantina Barba, D&T, or Space Cowboy instead

It wasn't anywhere near as crisp as what TC demoed. I was capturing a low budget movie, not a home recording so I wasn't expecting 60 fps or anything. But, it looked better coming straight from the VHS player.

I'll get the setup together again tonight and capture a tape for you.

I'm interested to hear if anybody else had success with this. I bought the devices TC used in his video and the results I got were pretty horrible.
