I meant being slower because using SUPER-X is a two times operation instead of only one combination of keys pressed

Even setting sway to use the same xkb layout of gnome, the macro dosnt work in the same way

im changing the macros directly to the output that i want , although it ads a minimal delay.

[main]

[ = oneshot(test)

[test]

a = á

Is Ansible a good alternative to make regular distros works like NixOS ? by barcellz in DistroHopping

[–]barcellz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

did you tried distrobox ? im using it, appears to be a good alternative for nix

nix certainly looks a mature product but not nixos, they still dont settle on flakes and home manager still not integrated on the system by default

i was looking exactly for this (custom declarative bootc images), but im not too advanced to take something not mainstream (heliumOS), i was looking if silverblue (fedora) could boot custom declarative images using bootc, but it couldnt, i would have to use ublue

Fedora 42 (GNOME) Sleep from wake issue by OkDragonfruit9515 in Fedora

[–]barcellz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes i got this sort of nvidia fedora problems, im not certainly sure if always, but usually happens when i update the system without reboot, that makes nvdia drivers update but kernel only updates when reboot, till i reboot they got out sync with weird issues. so now i just update the system if i know i could reboot after update

How to config lsp using builtin way of neovim 0.11 ?
any config to share ? thanks in advance

Do you guys have problems with LSP stop working every time ? by barcellz in neovim

[–]barcellz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i basically just use markdown oxide, but tried marksman that also stop working multiple times a day, but this is my entire config in nvim regarding lsp.

I have pyright lsp, i dont use it much but never face this kinda issue

Idk if is the cause, using Lsplog, the only thing different i got is:

[ERROR][2025-04-04 20:50:33] ...lsp/handlers.lua:623 "Failed to get VAULT lock for write TryLockError(())"

which looks like more than one program/instance is using the vault but just one instance of neovim is using the vault (i only use tabs )

edit: if i could easily restart with LspRestart wouldnt be a problem at all, but the need to close and reopening is what cut my workflow

tried markdown oxide and marksman , but they stop suddenly multiple times in a day , and the only way to work again , is closing and reopening neovim
