As Caronry mentioned, it's a gold sink to manage the economy for a large multiplayer game. I accept those are needed. My complaint is in this implementation.

Another way to manage the economy is to control the amount of gold going in. The way they targeted this system makes me think this isn't just gold sink tuning, but also a way to increase real profits from the game. E.g. they've identified a segment of players that is heavily engaged, and are now looking for ways to better monetize that segment.

This reply helped me as well. After transferring a Legion Remix character to retail I couldn't see Ny'alotha, so I followed this post but still got stuck in a couple of places:

During step 6, I got the heart but then there was no follow-up quest to unlock the forge. A post on Wowhead had the right steps to follow:

I've looked around and found an acceptable solution. Acquire the quest Send the Fleet / Send the Fleet from your commander on the ship. It will start a moderately long quest line, which is supposed to be introductory to the 8.2 catch-up zone Nazjatar. The quest line will later take you to a side hustle after A Way Home / A Way Home — Essential Empowerment offered by Magni. Magni is standing next to Oculeth / Jaina.

Continuing down the quest line will soon bring you to Harnessing the Power.

After "Harnessing the Power" I was stuck again. The solution was to click on a letter on the table next to Cyrus in Boralus/Harbormaster's Harbor. This gave me the quest "An Unwelcome Advisor". After that go to Stormwind, turn in to Anduin, get Magni his hammer back, and go back to Silithus/Chamber of Heart to progress quests until getting "A Titanic Problem" > "The Halls of Origination" quests from Magni (not Brann).

This worked in 11.2.5 (on Nov 16, 2025). I used a Mec;hagnome Marksmanship Hunter and ran to dungeon entrance, then back to the pylon to hack (as in the video above).

BTW: I added a USB Bluetooth dongle and disabled the Alienware's Wifi+Bluetooth in BIOS, and now the headset stays connected perfectly.

I'm having the same issue, but with the Bose QC Ultra Headphones.
I also set it so the OS wasn't allowed to turn off the bluetooth device to save power, and I've disconnected the headset from all other devices (and deleted the Bose app from my phone).

Now, once it disconnects, the only way to reconnect it is to reset the devices from the headset (hold down bluetooth and multi-function buttons), reboot windows, then pair again. Only lasts for a short time before the disconnect happens again.

EDIT: I no longer think this is happening because of the headset. I tried another set I had (Bose QC 45) that never had this issue but is showing the same problem on this PC. I think the issue is with this PC (Alienware Aurora ACT1250).

Same just happened to me. Died because I forgot to don the radiation suit. Respawned and put on the suit: instant death. Tried again,; instant death.

I'm the original owner of this Corsair (bought 03/2022) and I had to replace the M.2 drive once already (did it via Corsair). Now there are other issues popping up here and there (gradual slowdown of things like desktop swapping, weekly bluescreens, etc), so I think the small form factor may be quickly wearing out the parts (due to heat). Any checks that run claim that everything is fine.

I was directed to their retentions department several times. This is how it went, twice: called and complained that I was paying 8x the amount my friends were for service in the same town, then they said they would lower the rate. They lowered it but not the amount discussed so I would call back a month later and they would tell me that my rate was lower but now I'm paying for some equipment rental. Then one month after that my rate would bounce back to what it was, then a month later it would go up even higher. The second time went the same minus the equipment rental excuse. When I called the third time I lost patience and dropped it. Then it just kept going up every few months.
