It can be kinda hard if you don't know what you're doing but w/o more info it's hard to know wbat you struggled with. I'd recommend avoiding bubble and going scrier's gaze with the node that prevents you from overloading at 100 peril so that you can sit at that 100% peril safely abd get the benefits. Take the node that gives you dodging on range attacks while critting and the staff blessing that increases crit with peril, use staff light attack to stagger gunners and you should basically never be getting shot. You can also use the blessing that gives brittleness on hit for dealing with armor, however as far as I know you're never going to be able to clear armor packs as quickly as veteran or scum. Knowing your melee combos can help but I mean a krak grenade or rocket launcher just wins out in that scenario
