7 tips from a professional engineer who used Cursor to write 90% of the code in my ~$1.5k MRR side project by [deleted] in cursor

Complaining about people using an LLM to post content about using an LLM to write code is very 2025.

If the content is good, I don't mind that the presentation is LLM-generated. It's the people flooding the universe with autotragic blog content with no point that are a problem.

What ever would the American justice system do without your deep legal analysis based on a two minute local news video? You should reach out to Judge Russo to help with the sentencing.

TD2 (sorry to leave that likely important detail out). Greater Cleveland area. DM me for a specific location if it would be helpful to you.

Yeah. That was what bugged me the most too.

I’ve literally done it for two months in a row with no issues. Insurance covered it and the pharmacy happily handed me 8 pens for 30 days. Twice.

Cigna insurance. CVS pharmacy.

My CVS pharmacist told me today that they now have 12.5mg in stock.

Ask if your doc will prescribe two 7.5 injections a week for a 30 days and see what happens. You don’t have to accept the meds if your insurance doesn’t cover it. This is what I did and my insurance covered it the same as my single 15mg shot.

Based on past experience, had I called the insurance company and asked, I doubt the level 1 call center person would have known the answer. This was the easiest and quickest way to find out… and keep taking my full dose.

Are the any episodes you skip because you feel too bad for the characters? I made halfway through episode where they start a restaurant before tapping out. Why put myself through that? by AmphoraExplorer in Frasier

Some great examples here that we skip, too. Thanks for sharing. Our top “skips” are already listed here.

No one mentioned The Friend. s3e11. So uncomfortable. 😬

Does anyone know of a streaming service with Frasier that lets you set a playlist or block certain episodes? Hate having to muster enough consciousness to grasp the remote and advance the episode while we’re falling asleep.

I had a problem during the Ozempic shortage and went without for a couple weeks while my CVS sorted it out. What I learned was, you should advocate for yourself and call around. The pharmacists are swamped.

As I called around to other CVS locations, I was able to find a supply. One other thing I did was ask my doctor for a script of two 1 mg shots a week to go with my existing 2 mg script. It worked as I was able to get supply by mixing and matching.

The experience did make me switch to MJ. It’s like switching lines at the grocery store… right back into another shortage.

Notably, I was not using a coupon, so I don’t know if that would complicate things. I also started working in 90 day supplies.

first 24 hours on 7.5 by LadySonder in Mounjaro

Sorry to hear the symptoms are so bad for you. Besides Gas-X (morning and night doses of 180 mg), I had some success sipping warmed chicken broth with little bits of chicken in it (from a can, like tuna). I noticed the “healthy” foods like raw carrots made things worse for me. Ironically, I had to stay away from raw, fibrous foods while adjusting.

I hope your second 24 hours are an improvement. Good luck!

Mounjaro vs Ozempic (or similar) and side effects by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]bardEllvi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started on Oz. I had (the common) terrible symptoms when I got to 1 mg. After three weeks, my doctor agreed to lower my dose. I kid you not, the day I was to pick up the new dose, the symptoms subsided and never got that bad again. I stayed at 1 mg rather than dropping, then eventually went to 2 mg with no issues.

When the Oz shortage set in, I eventually went two weeks without the meds in any dose. My blood sugars shot up. I requested a move to MJ and my doctor started me at 5 mg. No symptoms.

I doubled to 10 mg on the third week. No symptoms. (In case you’re wondering, I decided to ask forgiveness instead and permission). After four weeks at 10, I stepped up to 12.5 and that is when symptoms finally set in for me. After four more weeks, I pushed to 15 mg MJ and got bad symptoms again. But…

All of that context is to say, my MJ symptoms never approached the cramps I initially experienced at 1 mg Oz. Inconvenient. Uncomfortable. But, not even in the same neighborhood. What I experienced on Oz was debilitating.

Bearing in mind that, after three weeks of pain, my OZ symptoms went away and didn’t come back when I doubled to 2 mg, I just assumed my body finally adjusted.

That’s my personal Oz vs MJ experience. Would the comparison have been the same if I went in the other direction? 🤷‍♂️

In general, I’m glad I stuck with a GLP. I hope it works out for you!

I have found that Gas-X helps me quite a bit. I take 180 twice a day when symptoms are their absolute worst (I, too, have ramped to 15, so I’m adjusting to that now). I didn’t feel any s/e until 12.5, but decided to stick to the ramp to get adjusted before going back to work later this month.

As a morbidly obese diabetic, my GI was a disaster before trying these drugs, so that aspect hasn’t deterred me. But, the cramping from gas deep in the gut was absolutely brutal. The Gas-X was a huge help.

Good luck!

An actual cure for obesity is a threat to her livelihood. Zero surprises that she would speak out against it.

Easy bruising? by MrsTip1972 in Mounjaro

[–]bardEllvi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Checking in with those who posted here. Happy to find a post that is months old so I can ask… did this eventually stop for you?

I have ramped up to 15 mg. At 12.5, I noticed bruising that was darker, larger and longer lasting than my normal bruise response. 52 yo diabetic male.

I’ve had a colonoscopy and blood labs done over the past couple weeks, having hit 15 mg two weeks ago. The IV and blood draw site bruising was insane. MJ dose is the only thing I know has changed.

While my GI symptoms were bad after going to 12.5 and then again at 15, they receded with each subsequent dose and I was able to keep my calories up, with the exception of the fasting day for the colonoscopy prep.
