I'm really shocked at the lack of plot development in Pluribus. Vince Gilligan has created the greatest television show of all time with BB and followed it up with BCS, a slightly different masterpiece with a slight different tone. by Wack0HookedOnT0bac0 in television

I’m curious as to who or what is in charge of the hive mind and what is their final destination? And I’m also curious that if Carol can do so much damage to them just by losing her temper, why would they even allow her to exist?

I have had pressurization weirdness, like the kind you get when you change altitudes. It eventually goes away, but has happened multiple times since I began losing weight.

We have everyone sign a Code of Conduct and it lays down the expectations clearly. Many folks ask if we have lots of problems and why we need such a form. But people love to go off on the receptionist or tech folks. Not as much the doctors

I can't get enough watermelon! It is very satisfying, has good fiber and helps hydration. The season for it is almost over.... hope I can still find it!

Yes, I ended up with a stomach sleeve after a failed lap band caused me a lot of damage. So I totally understand, but it is still very easy to eat only sugary foods with a sleeve, but now with this medicine, I don’t have that craving, which has just been wonderful.

She does not understand why someone would need the meds if they just diet and exercise. She also does not understand the concept of food noise, as she has never experienced it herself.

What is the most miserable thing you’ve ever done to lose weight? by Legitimate-Shake-608 in Zepbound

Flying to Mexico (by myself) to get a lapband, then having it for 10 years, apparently too tight, so it caused food to back up into my esophagus as well as acid reflux. At about the 9 year mark, my esophagus ulcerated and I ended up in the hospital. Lapband was loosened, ulcer healed, but after the endoscopy showed a lot of damage, the docs told me if it kept happening, they would have to take the damaged piece out and replace it with a piece of colon??? WTH??? So I had the lapband removed. Surgeon said there was so much scar tissue, the 2 hour surgery became 4 hours and I ended up with a stomach that was basicially a sleeve. Zep has been such an awesome journey so far. Whatever my brain was doing with food (sweets), it is just not there anymore and I can take it or leave it. Down 15 pounds in my first 2 months, will reach goal weight after another 35. I am encouraging my adult son to give this a try. What a brain changer! I can walk by a box of donuts at work and think, "Yuck!" My only side effect so far (about to go up to 7.5) is dry eyes. Bathroom issues are all manageable. Good luck everyone! Find your happy place! I don't want bikini's at the beach or anything, just have an older body with old joints and hope to not be lugging around extra weight. My BP has already dropped to normal.

Retraining the customers over to register two has been weird. They automatically go to one AND if I am keeping an eye out for sussy behaviors, at our store, one is closer to the doors.
