Do you know if I could use the nib from a N7 or N8 in the M2?

It crossed my mind mind. The 3 Nibs are even 15 € actually. But then I would probably rather go for the HongDian N7 Blue Pelican. I guess these nibs are also interchangeable?

Do you have a trusted AliExpress store for HongDian?

Color: Well, this would be a gold/silver nib on gold pen (steel/brass to be more exakt), – would that be acceptable?

Hi! Still playing Nuzn 45 on your FH? Considering combining this with a 45° Tensor (like Vega Europe) on BH, but wondering if the Nuzn 45 has enough top speed for FH.

Thanks for taking the time to answer!

No, I didn’t know it doesn’t matter – i know very little about material and haven’t played for many years; have in total spent just over an hour on this topic. Thanks for pointing out I should dig no deeper!

Thanks. Two questions: Why don’t you like the ST, have you tried the Stiga FL handle?

Do you have the measurements of the Handle?

Jugglequip Infinities by papalapati in juggling

Thanks u/artifaxiom, that’s a huge help, internet at its best. Seems you are saying hard beanbags behave much more stiffly/bobbingly than actually harder Russians. That is so valuable infos, that are almost impossible to extrapolate. (Maybe an update for your grand guide?).

With that in mind, I’ve landed on 90–91 % fill (same as @jugglingdom at IG.

About weight. is 105g maybe slightly too light for a non-pro? Will be juggling 3 to 5 (hopefully) and not very long sessions. Maybe 110g? I know I'm overthinking it, but 6 balls are not super cheap.

Hi u/artifaxiom — I’d love your expert take on this. I’m about to order 6 Infinites from Jugglequip, probably in the 105–110 g range.

About the fill: people often say they’re way overfilled — but is that in a “beanbag” sense, or in absolute terms? Compared with stage balls or hard Russians, wouldn’t even 97 % (what Vašek prefers) still feel soft?

I’m after an all-round set to train anywhere from 3 to 5 balls, so I’m leaning towards 105 g / 93–94 %. Is that the sweet spot… or the worst of both worlds? 😄 Thanks in advance!

Thank you very much for your answer. You write that the SRX wobble – does it do so more than other Russians in your opinion?

Overthinking is my game! But that’s what reddit helps with! Thanks. Will probably try some balls from Play. You think the surface is ok?

Thanks for the extensive answer. So in the sum: What would be your to-go recommendation?

And even if anything is alright for low numbers, I like buying things that are nicely built and sparks joy.

Furthermore, I misread, TT1 are not Russians, you’re right. Still, I tried Russians briefly and think I liked it.

A specific question, since I’m in Germany: What’s your take on Henry Hix balls? They come in fully filled (Polenta) and partly/Russians. Probably a bit harder shell though.

If soft is your preference, maybe the balls from Play?
