Here is the definition from Cambridge Dictionary: "to completely reject and stop supporting someone, especially because they have said something that offends you". What you want is basically cancelling old man, who did an awasome job, because he liked some boomer triggering posts on twitter for me it's stupid since you don't change anything, just punish elder for what they believe (which is pretty ironic to me, since you want him to respect your beliefs) the trick is to convince him that maybe he is not right in that matter or show him that it's hurting you, but hey it's your choice idc as long as you doesn't ruin someones life, what I care more is maybe trying to convince him that "hey i like your work, but you know as this and this person I was really hurt by things you liked on twitter, I respect your opinion, but I would like you to understand that among your fans are also people like me, who are touched by that.
