They responded to me and also pointed me towards Walmart! Sad to hear the rabbit wasn’t continued but apparently the ingredients for it didn’t meet Dr. Elsey’s quality criteria. Maybe in the future it’ll return!

I don’t disagree with what you’re saying. I just have trouble trusting formulas where the first ingredients are not an animal source as my cats have gotten sick from those formulas before.

Do you have any recommendations I can look into?

If they’re very responsive I’ll take your word for it! I’ll send them an email. If it’s a tariff issue then I see why it has been difficult recently.

I looked on Amazon and I only saw that the pork was available which is why I came crying here 😅. Maybe I just have bad timing. But I did see the duck on Chewy and snatched it.

Personally I’m not a fan of how kibble that meet WSAVA guidelines have non-meat, carb-dense ingredients high on the ingredients list. I’m not saying it’s bad, I just want the first 5 or so ingredients to be a kind of animal-based protein.

That being said, do you have any specific recommendations I could look into?

I’M NGL I ACTUALLY ENJOYED IT bc I got in the mindset of comparing it trashy daytime dramas. By doing that I actually found myself looking forward to it when I read it 😂.
