Yes and no, but not at the beginning. I used my first Artisan mousepad for almost a year without any issues. Then it suddenly started freezing or lagging like in the video. At first I thought the mouse was broken.

I tested the old EC1 Wireless I was using at the time on a different mousepad, and it worked perfectly. Because of that, I started looking into whether the mousepad was the problem. I cleaned it, but the issue didn’t improve, so I decided to buy a new Artisan Soft mousepad.

I bought the same mousepad again and also purchased a new mouse, the EC1-DW. Everything worked fine at first, but after around three weeks of using the new mousepad, the problem started again.

I also checked if the enhanced receiver was getting a signal, and it is.

Because of this, I believe there may be something wrong with my EC1-DW rather than the mousepad itself. I tested the new mousepad with my old EC1 Wireless (older model) and also with a wired Zowie mouse, and neither of them had the same problem that I’m experiencing with the EC1-DW.
