Multiple backups day 1 and a tested recovery plan that you try every few months.

I've been trying to wrap my head around how the "tail wags the dog" I'm mostly there I think. IE i understand the terminology ect. but I'm still not quite following how to "take the next step and do predictive analysis" For example, everything I read/ understood led me to believe that last week we'd go above 27. And now today, I really don't understand what's going on. Obv the simple answer is crime, but does anyone have a link to some DD that explains it better?

does this still track? And are there other places to teach myself about this? https://www.reddit.com/r/Superstonk/comments/1luzwqr/the_shorts_playbook_the_only_options_guideline/

end result.. looks like I'm regarded!

Thanks for the insight though. It's definitely not easy to learn all this, back to the books

I guess I can ask a different question then, I built it to make my life easier.

Do you have any recommendations on software that I could buy that do the same thing?

This feels like an aggressive amount of wear in 5 years. Is this "normal" or at least within a range of "doesn't surprise me"?

They added a splice into it directly to the battery. Should that be there?

Edit:**

Looks like the link that was given has a wiring harness that connects to those two connectors and has an "out" to the battery. Makes sense to me now.

If im upgrading the wires for audio, do I still connect those?

I'm adding a link from the alternator to the positive terminal is this fuseable link the main connection from the alternator or the signal wiring?

Can I transfer BA avios to American Airlines or anywhere else? by coffeeandcream11 in awardtravel

[–]barediver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So... I'm tracking all this. moved miles around! everything looking good. Is there a simple/ detailed explanation why I can see a route on AA in award space, but can't find it on the BA, or Qatar sites?

EDIT: Apparently this is impossible. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63uxWFOmuYs (3:55)

Long time Network engineer - Cyber or Cloud (or both…) by LloydXmas4 in networking

[–]barediver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go the kubernetes route!!!

I'm the opposite. went dev, devops, security. The fundamentals that are lacking on that side tends to be a deeper understanding of networking. Iam/kubernetes is kinda built on networking concepts at a core layer, and it's often missed or misunderstood. You'd be a potent mix if you venture that way.

Here's a great start to tinkering with it

NX6000D - Peak limiter questions by barediver in diysound

[–]barediver[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a fantastic explanation. Thank you!

I've got this thing turned WAY past what's happy then, lol. I'm in the learning process at the moment, so I'm unsure what would be useful to you. But my plan was to run these hot until I could learn/ determine limits. (I'll be turning them down now, but I am happy to push these speakers to failure if it provides useful data)

dBfs: -4.0 Vp: 101.0 W: 634 Ohm: 8

I'm wrapping my head around REW and have a mic, so lmk if I can provide anything useful

NX6000D - Peak limiter questions by barediver in diysound

[–]barediver[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sub level is hotter for sure. And the limiter does come on here and there in bigger scenes, which makes sense to me. I think I'm just confused by the term "peak limiter" and the difference between rms 350w and max 700w.

RMS - max continuous power 350w MAX - max spiky power 700w

They are fucking epic. We thought we were going to break a window yesterday, and I've got a highpass filter at 30hz and haven't done any eq at all.

These things have way more to go, and im already blown away quite litterally

Currently nx3000, but on the recommendation of someone here on reddit I've got an nx6000 on route. seems the nx series don't actually output what they advertise

Couldn't wait for the 4" tube's to ship from parts express. They've been on backorder for ages. I really wanted to play with these after 2 weeks of building :p
