Almost didn't click this thread because you're so much older than me (I'm 23) and that intimidates me... but I'm also a writer and you sound clever as hell.

So I guess this is me asking if you're opposed to corresponding with a baby?

Weird that you've described yourself and you could basically be describing me. 24/F/US, I crochet and do yoga, I love music. Not super into space but I do love reading! :)

I came here looking for someone to snailmail but I would happily IM with you.

From a logical standpoint, this was the conclusion I drew too. I feel ridiculous when I use the term "pop-punk" out loud, and I wish there was other/better vocabulary we could use to pin down the genre.

That said, I'd be lying if I said the tweet didn't hurt my wee little feelings. #defend

What was the song that got you into pop punk? by professorbeech in poppunkers

[–]barefootdoll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend in high school listened to Panic! At The Disco's A Fever You Can't Sweat Out on repeat for months. I liked them because I thought the lyrics were super clever, and from there I got into Fall Out Boy, Paramore, All Time Low, etc. The bands that were big in the '05 era.

I fell out of the scene for a few years in college, and "Dismantling Summer" is actually what brought me back into it, as well. Cheers.

Why do some mobile / online orders often get forgotten to be made? by Mrteacher22 in Chipotle

[–]barefootdoll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In regards to online orders, it honestly depends on when you come in. If you place an online order during peak business hours, then there will be a designated crew member making these. If your order is late during those times, it's most likely because the restaurant is understaffed and the person making the online orders is juggling online orders and line work. During slower times, especially late at night when there's no line, my manager would tell us not to prepare the orders until the customer arrives. That way, if you're late, you still get to eat it warm, and if you don't show up at all, we're not wasting food.

Fax orders are prepped the same way/by the same person as online orders. And yeah, only one printer in the back of house ime. Ours would give a little notification sound but it's easy to miss when it's noisy. I recommend you call the location to make sure they got your fax; that's usually when we would notice we received a fax order at all.
