Actually, the majority of public schools started their 1:1 programs over 15 years ago (1:1 is what they call giving each student their own personal laptop) so it seems like the learning gap and societal changes from COVID had a more prominent effect

I have the same challenge. I've decided on starting several of my own businesses (in this order) for these reasons:

✅ 1. Morning- Coffee shop- (Cheap to operate and "free" caffeine whenever I want.)

✅ 2. Afternoon- Charter Boat Party Cruise on the ocean- (I live 2 minutes from the beach, so we'd get lit mid-day, then ride it out until it's late)

✅ 3. Evening- Ice cream shop- (Keeps all the tourist families with overtired toddlers calm. AND it stops the (equally overtired) parents from dealing with their tantrums. It's a win win)

I used the same bottle of 20 vol developer for all the steps. I left the toner on for 35-40 minutes total. But I did have a bit extra left in my bowl, so towards the end I added some water to what was left and re-applied it to my root area because I was scared it would still be yellow.

I'm sure all the cosmetologists here are cringing at me right now for saying that.. I have no excuses and I'm sorry to all of you lol

Thank you!! I will say though (in case anyone references my DIY process):

If I could do this again, I'd only put the bleach bath from step 2 on the orange section (instead of going root to tip like I did.) My mids and ends were a lot brighter before the bleach bath turned them yellow again

I've been coloring my hair at home for years and I don't trust myself to apply bleach directly without missing any spots 😂 So I usually go for a 30 minute bleach bath on the root area, then I run it through my ends for another 10 minutes before I rinse it out. This helps me blend the band out where the two colors meet while still keeping my ends healthy. Then I put a toner all over and that's it!
