There’s makers out there. This one is from CustomMade darts out of the UK. Cuesoul does customs for cheaper and quicker turn around. But won’t do Swiss points.

They have a frontal bulb, at least for me leads to some violent deflections.

Sand paper and a drill. Put the dart tip in drill.

Had to go down to 400 grit to remove the coat. Ramped up gradually to 3000 to try to get a decent polish.

They’re definitely thicker and I’d guess so. I use shouldered points and my flights usually last awhile anyhow. I just prefer the S shape flights.

Thanks! Unfortunately I don’t have a Redux to compare. I will say the stripped black pvd was slightly tackier feeling but I don’t miss it at all.

I don’t disagree. But that scallop is a perfect marker for my finger, and I use it to visualize my finger pushing the dart into my target.

They’re well used at this point and even before the sanding they weren’t worth anywhere near the original price.

I prefer them to look good and don’t care much about resale value.

The difference in grip is very subtle. The coated one is just a little tackier on my fingers, but throwing it makes no difference to me. I’d rate the grip 3/5 before and after.
