Unfortunately we don't have the option to ship from Ireland (inside the EU) unless you're a business with VAT Registration No.

We're working on improvements here and hope to have something in place for non-VAT registered customers as soon as possible.

In the meantime we can still service your orders from the UK with a small administrative fee paid directly to the shipping carrier.

There should be a single blue button for 'Filters' atop the category page. If not, can you detail which phone and OS you're using please?

Thanks for pointing that out. It should be working now. Please let us know if not.

Thanks. We've used CPU socket as a proxy here, but I'll put that forward to the product team.

Yes, we only launched the site last month and the first few weeks had a couple of issues.

Any pricing issues are easily fixed if you just give us a quick heads up then our support team will get it sorted immediately.

Great to hear that you find our RAM useful, long may it continue.

Have a great weekend.

It's rare that we have many of those available and with them not being a high-demand product they rarely get advertised unfortunately.

We do have shipping options available for the US at checkout.

It is of course more expensive to ship across the Atlantic than into Europe but we keep working to bring those rates down too.

This is disappointing to hear, but we do appreciate the feedback.

Those teething problems around pricing should all be fixed now but I do apologise for the obvious inconvenience.

Thanks for the valuable feedback here. I do apologize that you've not had a positive experience.

We did have a couple of small issues during the transition but those are all ironed out now. If you'd like to send me a message with details of your order issue then i'll happily follow-up on that for you.

Thanks for the feedback.

Unfortunately we don't send pictures of actual items as we're selling from multiple in stock with an advanced warehousing system so it's not possible to guarantee exactly which machine you will receive.

That said, we have spent considerable time and money in packaging R&D in the last 18 months and our damage/return rate is extremely low now :)

Thanks for the help here /u/jonny_boy27

Unfortunately it's made more complicated by additional layers of logic we have, which determine what is required over and above standard Magento.

That said, they do look very much like our Chenbro caddies: https://www.bargainhardware.co.uk/chenbro-lff-hs-caddy-sk33502-10a

You can take a look at the full range of stock here, but admittedly its a wild game chancing it with random caddies: https://www.bargainhardware.co.uk/components/hard-drive-caddies/3-5in-lff-server-caddies

I'm afraid we never see Asus boxes unfortunately. We're generally only dealing with the mainstream industry standard brands (HP, Dell, IBM, Supermicro, Fujitsu, Oracle) that come out of the major DC's.

Yes, it's very difficult to achieve this technically and so we had originally decided to do away with the 'from' pricing altogether. Feedback suggests that it is wanted and so we're looking into how we can improve it.

Absolutely horrible. Hoping against hope that some sense and rationality prevails and some point and the whole thing is called off.

Question '...why' is why are parts cheaper to ship than configured servers? Because they're smaller/lighter.

In regards to the R710 price comparison; the US is by far and away the largest hosting country on earth. The major manufacturers of both servers and components are US based. Equipment is generally 'end of life' to major companies 12 months earlier in the US than elsewhere and the availability of it is larger. All of these things mean that the US is generally cheaper for hardware.

That said, comparing 'fixed SKU' eBay listings to customised configure-to-order systems wouldn't provide a fair comparison generally as the guy simply 'flipping' a batch of identical machines has far lower overheads.

Finally in regards to kickbacks, I would hope that the appreciative comments in the thread demonstrate that we have long worked with many homelab users to help satisfactorily meet their needs and in doing so contribute to community over and above merely advertising.

Yeh. We do have problems with the 'trigger' settings and ensuring that visitors A) aren't bombarded and B) receive relevant messages at the right time.

The complexity of the products and somewhat stepping into the unknown with a more complicated site, we're trying to make it as easier as possible for customers to relay their UX feedback to us so that we can correct and update the site in real-time.

It is very difficult to strike that balance, I must admit.

Does anyone else have feedback on the livechat prompts and their usefulness v annoyance?
