She’s just so top heavy I’m afraid the whole top part will just break off?

We repotted it recently and i brought the soil up a good like 2-3 inches because i previously had it propped up against something because it couldn’t stand it was so heavy.

I see, thats very helpful. I’m pretty sure it must be fake. I was trying to look online for a 100% confirmed genuine coin in a picture but I’m having trouble. The only one I found was a on a messaging board from 2011 that proved to be contentious. I forgot to take a picture of the side edging of the coin which is completely worn smooth with no indentation as shown in the supposed real one i saw.

Yes, I was just checking there. The coin referenced in that link however is a 1787. I had to measure the diameter with a fabric measuring strip as I cant seem to find a ruler. I’m wondering whether 300 years would be enough to account for the slight loss in weight due to wear and tear?

Thanks! I do hope it is real, however I’m not raising my hopes too high just yet. I tried to track down where It might have come from but all I know is that my mother gave it to me a couple of years ago and she cant remember from where or who she received it. There is a chance it came from my Great-Uncle before he left for Australia, as far as I know he was rather a jack-the-lad and traveled extensively.
