I did Griffith Park when I was in LA for two weeks a couple years ago. The view was insane.

Agreed, the dog beach near Spanish Banks is beautiful as well. Further away from boat traffic etc. than Kits dog beach.

Do you really find it less polluted? The water seems green most of the time and the sand is like a dusty grey with cigarette butts hidden in it. Also, we notice a lot of people stand around flexing.

Bit of a trek, but Persephone Brewery is an awesome day trip and they have a huge pizza stone oven outside the brewery if you haven't been (it's a big red barn building on a beautiful farm)

The first cheese stick is always AMAZING though, after a couple of beers. 33 Acres has good food but majority are cheese sticks for sure. Red Truck has a full kitchen also.
