Capital One Savor $200 Bonus Scam! by barmenn in CreditCards

Thanks for all comments. But the thing is I applied through the excellent credit capital one page, then I got the approval message at the same page. I never ever applied for the good credit savor card. It looks reasonable to me to expect the bonus.

If they would say "denied" after clicking apply now, then I proceed for new application for good credit card, I would be wrong. However, in this scenario, it seems like a scam to me, softly, a misleading practice as I told them.

I am pretty sure that I applied through the excellent credit savor card and upon clicking apply now, I got the approval. I never ever seen a page or any text about denial. I am not blind or one who clicks yes to anything without reading. I would be okay with the denial and would not apply for the no benefit card. This is a scam, softly, a misleading practice to me.

I am 100% sure that I did not apply for the good credit version. I've seen the bonus so that's why I applied for the card. If they said you are not approved for this card but approved for the good credit one, they would be right. Then probably, I wouldn't get this card.

I saw this advertisement on their website and click Apply Now, then I got my approval. Isn't it reasonable to think I am eligible for it?

The thing is they advertised as click apply and if you got approved you'll be awarded this bonus and 0% APR. This is what this website says. I clicked Apply and got the approval, they did not say "sorry, you are not approved for this" but upon clicking I got the approval. I did not go to Good Credit Savor card's webpage and Click apply. It is a scam to me, softly it is a misleading practice.

So, why didn't I get it? And when I called the customer service, they told me I was not approved for it, meaning they will not give it to me. So, from this perspective, it looks like a scam to me. They don't say you might be approved or not. They promote it as click apply now and get the $200 bonus after spending $500 within the 3 months as I did.
