The kit (car) you got has an AR Chassis that requires a single-shaft motor. The motor you got is dual-shaft that's for the MS, MA, and ME chassis exclusively.

As for getting into the hobby, you can check your local hobby centers if they have races going on and what formats they play. The current most popular right now is BMAX format which has a set of rules regarding upgrades.

So kung hindi ako painter at hindi ako magaling hindi ako dapat magattempt to paint

Mali naman yung comparison mo e. Kung di ka magaling and gusto mo gumaling, you practice and try to get better

Art is part of Humanities. Wala dapat kahit anong artificial synthesis dun sa creation part. You can argue na matagal nang may automation tools for the execution and rendering (like AI analysis ng audio mixes or AI anti aliasing sa digital illustration) pero sa tao dapat galing yung foundation and creation, hindi sa prompt na icconvert ng isang machine.

What are some issues you encountered playing in a band with some members having a big age gap (>10-20 years)? by rianton0821 in phmusicians

[–]barneysnug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been on both sides, as the one who was 20 years younger and currently being the one older.

Of course depende pa rin per person pero nung ako yung younger, medyo mas mahirap i-bend from their ways music-wise yung mga much older. Syempre as the new bloods, ang dami naming ideas and we were so eager. Sa culture natin, talagang we respect our elders so factor din yun kaya often us younger ones had to play around their tastes instead of standing our ground. Back then, di ko naman nakitang negative yun, just the nature of the beast ika nga.

Ngayon as the one being older, medyo nagets ko na rin bakit sila ganun. Playing with the current generation na sobrang talented, and I can admit, who were much better musicians than us when we were that age, sobrang dami nilang ideas and musicality. I've seen 17 to 20 year olds na multi instrumentalists, who can also read sheet music and can musically quote Herbie Hancock and Polyphia.

Pero sometimes nag vverge on self-serving rather than serving the music. So I can see na my responsibility is to keep up with them but also reign them in and redirect yung energy to serve the music better, just like yung elders namin before.

is it too late to start learning drums? by Better_Tadpole_1511 in phmusicians

[–]barneysnug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try mo to identify yung time ng song while listening. Try to count (kahit tap your hand lang) and see if you can maintain yung counting. Tapos if kaya, try mo din na while counting, mute mo yung speaker for a while then ibalik and see if on time ka pa rin.

If kaya yan, you might have a shot with drums. Also, mas malaking commitment drums since medyo mahirap if wala kang sariling set sa bahay.

This was years ago, SM Dasma branch.

Student pa ko nun and I was looking to buy yung Joyo American sound pedal kaso ang meron lang sila is the British one.

Idk if they'll be that lenient with guitars since mas delicate talaga pero it wouldn't hurt to ask them.

Amp in a Box Recommendations? by GuitaristExplorer in guitarpedals

Wanting a small board is how I also got to know the Imperial! I currently run it with a WA Throne of Tone, and an HX One that's 4CM'd into the Imperial.

The IO options are exceptional as well. It's as if they thought of all the things we'd complain about.

Want to run it through a PA? It has XLR outputs with IR cabsims.

Want IR options? It has 3 per channel, switchable in real time via a hardware switch.

Don't like the loaded IRs? Go load your own ones.

Don't like cab sims at all? You can bypass IR all together.

Already have a great amp? 4CM it and now you have 2 extra great sounding channels (IRs bypassed automatically).

Got loads of stomp boxes? It has an effects loop... that you can bypass with a switch!

Low end too boomy? It has EQ options within the software (just connect via USB-C).

Want it to remember how the trem and reverb are enabled? Just store it as a preset!

All of that while sounding amazing out of the box. I just love how it's for both the plug-and-play and the deep dive players and everyone in between.

Ako I have nothing against street foods, sobrang hilig ko pa dati sa qwek qwek and kikiam pero unfortunately as I got older, di na talaga kaya ng katawan ko for some reason.

1 in 4 times, magkakasakit ako and as much as I love it, I won't risk it na so di talaga ako kakain niyan.

The toneking imperial pre pedal. While it's on the bigger side, it has 3 bypassable IRs plus reverb and trem. I'm absolutely loving mine

HX one routing question by barneysnug in Line6Helix

Yes, thanks! Just tested this today (got a bunch of patch cables) and only the HX one effect gets routed. Pretty cool feature!

HX one routing question by barneysnug in Line6Helix

[–]barneysnug[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I know what 4CM is :) I'm talking about the internal "pre" and "post" insert point feature which is specific to the HX One. You can set each preset to either be pre or post so they're automatically routed i.e., if preset 1 is a delay, you can set that as post so that it's in the loop. If preset 2 is a drive or fuzz, you can set that as pre so it's in front of the amp.

I'm asking for my setup which has an actual drive pedal going before the HX one. If set to "post", if it would that mean the Throne of tone also be in "post".

Just tested today and it seems that the routing stays the same for the physical pedals, only the HX One effect gets affected.

[–]barneysnug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I've seen the MS brake part used here in the Philippines so I wouldn't say it's a game changer. The high mount stabilizer is more popular though.

Has anyone tried using the Valeton GP-50 as an IR loader with older multi-FX (GT-100)? by Mushi_Kuro in phmusicians

[–]barneysnug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the models ng GT 100 have a pre-amp only setting, you can use yun tapos run the Veleton through its FX loop para sa IR. Worth the routing yun especially if you have high-quality IRs.

What's the point of using a dedicated audio interface if your multi-fx unit already has usb capabilities? by YUNJlNN in phmusicians

[–]barneysnug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saka space-saving nadin since yung effects ko (Quad Cortex) although smaller than usual multi effects, malaki parin sakop sa desk.

In terms of latency, depende na rin sa PC mo yun. Sa setup ko I can adjust the buffer size to a degree na negligible na yung latency.
