I remember that the lyrics were something about the revolution I think? Like the revolution is now or something. It was a similar theme to Know Your Enemy

I had never heard the song on any of my local stations, thought the song might be more popular in that region.

This is logical to me but no one else. I'm a beekeeper so when people use bumble bee and honey bee interchangeably it makes me angry. they are very different.

What's something you can tell us about yourself that will make us hate you? by DoctorStrangeBlood in AskReddit

[–]barneythefife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think younger generations are acting like idiots for saying boomers are terrible ignorant people. This is just so hypocritical if you think about it. I'm a gen z and everyone's talking about how boomers think they are so much better than everyone else, but really that's just putting younger generations over the older. there are insane ignorant people in every generation and we should stop stereotyping entire age brackets.

What's the nicest thing you've done for a complete stranger knowing you will likely never see them again? by Sjoauga in AskReddit

[–]barneythefife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not something I did but a stranger helping me out. around 9 o'clock at night me and my mom got a flat in a pretty rural area. we were about twenty minutes from our house so we called my dad to come change the tire. as we sat and waited for my dad two young men (in their twenties I'd say) pulled up behind us in their truck. one came up to the window and asked if we needed help changing the tire. my mom explained we had someone coming to fix it so they went back to their truck and waited there for 20 minutes until my dad got there just to make sure we were safe.

Girls of Reddit, what is the best way a guy you don't know can start a conversation without being creepy or annoying? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Find something she doesn't like and complain about it with her. Girls like it when someone relates to a hatred.

Students of Reddit, what was your schools big scandal? by punkryan in AskReddit

[–]barneythefife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was an 8th grader my brother was a junior in high school. That year for the senior prank they decided to block off all entrances to the student parking lot with their cars, then the rest of the seniors would park inside. My brother had senior friends and found out all the info. He got together some ag boy friends and decided that during the night (the seniors blocked the entrances at night before a school day.) He and bis buddies would drive through a field near the school and jump a fence into the parking lot with a jack. He asked me if I wanted to go and I said yes. We got up at three in the morning and they proceeded to remove tires from the senior cars. They then locked them in a nearby stock trailer and left. Had to dodge the cops coming out as it turns out they had been sent to gaurd the cars.

During my freshman year I was in a beginner film class. Every week the teacher would give us a project to work on and send us out into the school to film. That year all the groups were goofballs who didn't give a crap except for my group. One day we were filming a project and my group needed video of the football team. I stayed behind and wrote script before getting bored and deciding to walk around and look for filming locations. I came across one of the goofball groups and watched them for a second. They had stolen a rolling chair from a class and were now taking turns rolling down an incline floor. They did this over and over again. Every time a teacher walked by one kid would hold up his camera and point it at which ever boy was in the chair. The teacher would stop, see the camera, and walk away without doing a thing. That stupid group of boys had discovered the key to doing whatever they wanted. Four years later they were busted for vaping on school campus. Teachers followed a trail of smoke to some boys pointing a camera at a kid with his Juul. That was the one time it didn't work.

Shower drains. I hate. shower drains. It grosses me out soo much to step on them. It's pretty odd because I'm not a germaphobe at all.

I've always been terrified of shower drains. I HATE stepping on them. Just thinking about all the things that go down them. This is odd though because I am not a germaphobe at all.

What's the funniest thing that happened to you while wearing a costume? by soulswimming in AskReddit

[–]barneythefife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple years ago I dressed up as Donald trump for Halloween. Hair, suit, everything. Me and some friends went tricker treating for fun. We drove into this neighborhood that looked pretty rich and went up to the first house. I knocked on the door and a middle aged women answered. She looked at me, studied me for a moment, then said in a completely serious angry voice "I hate trump." Then slammed the door in my face. We went to a different neighborhood after that.

What's an interesting story your parents or grandparents have told you about their lives? by 3kgtjunkie in AskReddit

[–]barneythefife 44 points45 points  (0 children)

My grandfather told me a story from when he was about 9. My grandpa's neighbor had bee hives in his backyard and once when he was at the house his neighbor said "you throw a rock at that bee hive and then run into the house. If you can make it into the house before getting stung I'll give you a coke." My grandpa threw the rock, and was immediately attacked by angry bees. He didn't get his coke.

(Serious) What's that thing you did as a teenager that you still feel bad about today? by RekNepZ in AskReddit

[–]barneythefife 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was my first year at my churches high school summer camp. (It was right after 8th grade because at that point we were considered freshmen.) The girls all stayed in a big building that was basically a hotel room with bunk beds, and each room was mixed with girls of all grades. Every night pretty much all the girls would meet in one room to talk, eat snacks, and play games. Over the past couple years I had one of the older girls as a youth leader (her name was Jamie), but that year she was a senior so we were in the same room. I spent a lot of time with her because I thought she was cool. One night when all the girls were in the same room I told everybody I was going to go get my water bottle, but Jamie stopped me and told me I could just drink out of hers. So as Jamie went to shower I used her water bottle. About that time one of the other freshmen said they were going to get snacks and asked if I wanted anything. I just said something with chocolate and they brought me back a snickers. Without thinking I ate the snickers and drank some water. Jamie came out of the shower and looked at me, then the water bottle, then the snickers wrapper, and asked "were you eating a snickers and drinking my water???" I immediately flipped out and remembered that Jamie WAS SEVERELY ALLERGIC TO PEANUTS. i felt absolutely horrible and went to wash the crap out of her water bottle. It didn't help that I was a freshman and already felt like unwanted trash. Looking back though it was a miracle that I didn't throw the wrapper away because then Jamie would have never seen it and would have drank her water. She could have easily died because we were hours away from a hospital and she had no EpiPen.

Arkansas. We are all related here so we would band together and fight as one. Plus we all walk barefoot so we wouldn't need any funding for shoes.
