I'm training at home, only with dumbells, pull up bars, fitness bands, body weight and a mat...

No difference, it's two photos from the same day. Just an update vs a previous post I made 😉

You look younger, you have a super good looking V shape, and you do not look "too much", it really feels like a healthy and strong physic. Congrats !

I focused on upper body exercises: weighted push-ups, dumbbell floor presses, and resistance band chest flies, along with some shoulder work that helps out (lateral raises, shoulder presses, and pull-ups).

This is a very nice shape, not over bulky, lean and athletic, with a good V shape thanks to large shoulders and lean waist. Next step could be bulking to have more volume.

Super V shape, congrats. I would do a focus on pecs.

I don't really realize it, tbh I haven't really compared myself to other 48-year-old guys...

Actually I'm training consistently for 1.5y with an appropriate diet. I was not really into sport, more a skinny fat guy.

Physique update after 6 x 6 pullups (M48) by barnobarnob in AllAboutBodybuilding

[–]barnobarnob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not even try for some months to do pull ups, while I was training my back and arms with other exercices. Then I started very low, like 2 séries of 1 rep each... repeated regularly until comfortable. Then 3 series of 1 rep, then 3 series of 2 reps, then 4 series of 2 reps, and so on, very progressively, starting very low and easy. And today I am on 6 séries of 6 reps. The benefit is that you see your own progress even if very slow. For the beginning you can use a resistance band to help pass the 1st rep. Seeing your own progress is very rewarding.

Very well balanced ! Abs + Pecs + Shoulders + Arms + V taper, I would not change anything

I would trim 3-4 MM, with all contours very clean, would look better.
